[PATREON Content of the Day! - Aug 5]

Here are the translations from Germana: Wandenreich - Walled Empire Blut - Blood Quincy Voll Stern Dich - Quincy full star of you (but what they actually mean is Vollständig which means complete, so the name of the form is basically Quincy complete) Sklave Rai (Sklaverei) - means Slavery

while there were plenty of scenes added in this episodes, there's also quite a few parts that were rearranged or just flat out removed; some of those cuts make sense to help with the pacing (particularly the comedic scenes that would have clashed against the seriousness of the arc) , while others I would've personally preferred to be adapted. There was a scene with some of the lieutenants gathered, such as Renji, Rukia, Nanao, Kira, etc, discussing the Captains meeting, with Kira deducing that the disappearance of the 28,000 Rukon district residences must have been caused by the Soul Reapers and that Mayuri is involved. There's also a part cut where after Quilge activates his holy form, there's some inner monologue by Orihime figuring out that the reason they cannot sense Quilge's reishi is because reishi is something to be absorbed, not emitted, something that they've perfected to a massive degree.

Notice when Ichigo said Quilge’s attack was stronger than Ishida’s “Uryu Ishida’s Heilig Pfeil is weaker than mine? How odd…That’s not possible.” Then when Ichigo asked him what he meant by that, he said he had said too much Just something to keep in mind

If we do 2 episodes per week it's gonna take 5-6 months to finish tybw, it should at leastt be sumthin like 1 season per month making it a 4 month journey

Wandenrich is pronounced vandenreich btw

"OH SHIT! AARON!" also lol you said in the tier list revisit Kira was the strongest lieutenant and then this happens

This arc is like when you hear an old hillbilly talk about how the Nazi's are rebuilding their army under the ice in antartica but he's right this time.

Whatever degree of censorship was in OG Bleach, Bleach TYBW is the complete opposite. Also imo, this Wandenreich invasion makes the Pain invasion look like a schoolyard fist fight in comparison lol

Side note the girl with the orange umbrella looking thing on her head is ikkaku’s little sister. There are gonna be a lot of names coming at you pretty soon one of my favorite stern ritters is Bazz B

Soul reapers never were "good guys". At best they are morally grey. Mayuri just genocides village of 28,000 people and all he gets from Yamamoto is "at least you could've ask before doing it"

you cant watch the intro for this season as it has spoilers right up to ep 13 but you should watch it when you finish season 1

voll stern dich is just shitty viz translation and doesnt even translate to anything. it should be Vollständig which translates to complete in german

A couple things to note here. 1. Mayuri said Yamamoto "couldn't" kill the Quincy King, not "didn't", implying that he just wasn't able to. 2. The reason the Quincy kill hollows is to survive. We've seen that Soul Reapers don't always get there in time, so the Quincy refused to stop killing Hollows because that would mean the Hollows could just keep killing until a Soul Reaper finally arrived.

and let the invasion begin

German lesson of the week, a lot this episode: Daten = Data; Heiligpfeil = Holy Arrow; Quincy: Letzt Stil = Quincy: Final Style; Quincy: Vollständig = Quincy: Complete; Jagdarmee = Hunting Army; Sklaverei = Slavery; Blut = Blood; Sternritter = Star Knights This episode is a showcase of what Quincy are truly capable off. Quincy absorb Reishi to strengthen themselves and Letzt Stil was only used once by Ishida in his battle against Mayuri, which made him powerful enough to one-shot Mayuris Bankai but made him lose his power. The Vollständig is supposed to be the perfected version of that. No drawback of losing their power, while still maintaining the insane power boost. Sklaverei is similarly the Reishi manipulation and absorption cranked up to the highest level, as if the Reishi is subservient to them, which is why the name means slavery. Subtil, I know. A war between Soul Reaper and Quincy is gonna be.....fun to say the least, knowing how powerful just ONE of them is! Also Quilge saying to Ichigo that Ishida being weaker than him is impossible. Why does everybody know more than Ishida himself? Also just to mention: The subs call Vollständig "Voll Stern Dich" for some reason, which literally has no meaning. Many people just call that form their "Holy Form" to make it simpler.

Ishida Souken is Uryu's grandpa and the one that trained him to be a quincy as a child. Quilge Opie is saying that Souken split from the rest of the quincy at some point and didn't join the Wandenreich, which is why Ishida's techniques are considered old and outdated by him.

You really put Kira over Tosen and Ukitake on your tier list lmao

the interesting thing as like final part of bleach that means they can kill of anyone, so character you expect to have plot Armour, all bets are off
