I do agree with you that they didn't really explain Chad being with Xcution very well at all, it's a bit weird. I do really like that Chad is with Xcution from a story perspective, but they should have briefly showed how they met up. Ginjo prob recruited Chad by telling him about the plan to restore Ichigo's powers.

I think you're not getting the story changed perspectives and frame of reference compared to the series beforehand we are stuck at Ichigo's level of awareness and perception as watchers right now, he and us don't know what's going on or why. It's a mystery and hints are limited to only tiny bits of information outside of his perspective that he doesn't know about. Ichigo really does know nothing about Kisuke or his dad after realizing he's a soul reaper this whole time and Kisuke hasn't been completely good or truthful to Ichigo either remember his ruthless training and the reason they even went to soul society was mostly a lie created half by him and Aizen who himself torched Ichigo's world view before his dad intervened then he lost his powers for a long time with no answers or explanation to be found or expected because why would he even need it now he has a normal life he forced on himself being threatened to be torn open again. That puts Ichigo in a very messed up mental space he doesn't even acknowledge.

Ichigo's hilt guard is the originally found in Hinduism during BC times, "right facing" swastika which translates to, "to be good". When Hollow Ichigo would appear in Zangetsu's world back when that happened the swastika on Hollow Ichigo's hilt would be reversed to be the more popular swastika we know today for reasons pertaining to 1940 Germany. So much like Neji's forehead when Ichigo's fullbring emerged in the shape of Zangetsu's hilt it was in a swastika, but it was the ORIGINAL religious hindu good-meaning non-evil swastika. However, much like Neji's forehead this did not stop them from censoring it. They didn't censor the sword hilt because it's small and hard to notice. Ginjo's symbol is a cross (although at an angle) because it's meant to be a different religious symbol in order to contrast with Ichigo.

Their names are similar so I understand why you do mix them up, but Ganju and and Ginjo are 2 different people. Ganju is the guy from the Soul Society that could turn things into sand and used fireworks. Ginjo is the Fullbringer.
