We have closed on one of the most iconic saga's in all of anime, bravo. If you have time I would actually recommend watching from the beginning of 342 because you missed a lot of heartfelt scenes showing Ichigo's gradual loss of powers that are amazingly done (even if they were filler). The last two filler arcs that you skipped were also phenomenal and you would likely enjoy them.
I like how Ichigo said to Grimmjow in their final fight that is he gonna defeat him then defeat Ulquiorra then he gonna defeat Aizen, and he did that in that order.
The last cour of TYBW is coming out in July (they haven't specified further than just July yet). I think at the rate you have been going you will finish the original series in the second week of July. The last cour will be 13 episodes so it will be airing until September so you may get to watch a couple episodes weekly and be there for the end.
On Episode 310, Ichigo talks about feeling Aizen's loneliness and how Aizen was born more powerful than anyone else, and could never relate to anyone. The reason Espada 1 Stark was so weird is because he was written to parallel with Aizen. Stark made a 2nd person with his own power so he wouldn't be lonely and when she died, he just gave up. Aizen was initially drawn to his hatred of the Soul King and the Hogyoku yes but as soon as Ichigo was born, he plotted Ichigo's entire life to make him as strong as he became. That's because Aizen knew as soon as Ichigo was born there was finally someone who could reach his level, he made Ichigo powerful just as Ichigo was making Aizen more powerful and completed him. When Ichigo lost his powers, deep in his subconscious Aizen gave up, all he had were his original motivations which were not strong enough to keep the Hogyoku subjugated to his will.
When Ichigo says, "Mugetsu" when using the Final Getsugatensho, Mu means Void in Japanese. And Getsu means Moon (which is the first thing we see in episode 1 btw the moon). So it literally translates to Moon of Void which is badass. Also is the reasoning behind Imu from One Piece's name. Also holy shit 309 is so badass how is Aizen even cooler when he's angry.
Keep pumping these out and you'll get to TYBW in time for season 2! It's only going to keep getting more hype from here
I don't like the next arc as much as the past two. But I do feel like it's way better paced, so that's nice. No more starting half way through episodes
I hope you like it more this time around, it's my favorite. I think it focuses on the right characters and challenges who they are.
I'm hype for the next arc, it does things that very few series ever have an opportunity to go into with a well established cast i really liked the style in the manga for it, i dont remember the anime for this arc so its a good refresh.
you might catch up in time for the last episode of tybw but depends when in july it releases
Do a 3 episode per part for the next arc until TYBW we need it ASAP
Fullbring arc is peak too my friend
Even in the manga this arc is longer than Wano and the 4th great ninja war. It’s also crazy how so many enemies died but 0 people on the good side died
You're forgetting about Dordoni
Also it's implied that after Yammy woke up and saw the dog he died from the damage caused by kenny and byakuya
Fullbringer arc here we come!
A cool detail is that accepting the blade is how ichigo gets his powers in episode 1 so the way he gets them and loses them is the same coming full circle
For the manga there is no second passing out. Ichigo passes out wakes up at his house a month later then goes outside and says goodbye to rukia
the new artstyle really great imo, im excited for the next arc
