Also interesting tidbit: in Japanese, Szayelaporro’s resurrección is called Fornicarás, meaning “you will fornicate.” Not sure why they changed it to La Lujuriosa in the subs tho.
Pesche and Dondochakka are like 2 Usopp's at his worst in the same room together it's insane. EDIT: Nevermind they popped the fuck off

I always liked Pesche and Dondochakka but understand why others don't. Their backstory definitely made me respect them even more. They pretty much acted like idiots all the time to keep up the facade of not knowing anything about the espada and stuff to protect Nel. Nel didn't like fighting so they basically acted like kids to appease her child self and keep her from regaining her memories. They pretty much gave up their former selves just to protect their master.
With that backstory they definetly are cool, the pacing did them very dirty, they didn´t have to be used that often and persistent for comedic relief it destroyed high exciting and thrilling moments. Comedic relief is a difficult tool to use in tense and serious moments and the anime (don´t know about the manga tho) did a very bad job at this. That´s why everyone that hates them does.
Apparently, Szayelaporro is somehow the author's favourite character. Also, the Peche and Dondochaka are fine on their own but them toghether + Szayelaporro makes for the worst experience ever
