St. Saturn mentioned previously Bonney can become any version of her future self that she believes is possible, that's why it gets less efficient as she gets older because she learns more about what's possible and what's not. So she can turn into a giant because she's still young and doesn't know what she can and can't become later.

To summarize how Bonney's Fruit works in the way I understand it best from everything shown so far, (unlike Shinobu's who can only age UP and is permanent on both people and objects), Bonney can age anything and herself UP, DOWN, and/or SIDEWAYS into hypothetical timelines. It is never permanent on living things, however. By distorting her age, she can become her alternate versions like Buff Bonney for free without spending years working out or having buff parents. She also made Luffy a frail old man back then when we know there are other timelines where he's in better shape at that age. In this case, she's a version who was born a Giant I guess.

I had put a couple of these together myself, but omg it goes so much deeper then I ever would have realized on my own. It continues to amaze me that Oda can write massive twists that no one saw coming, while putting so much foreshadowing that almost makes it seem obvious in hindsight. I'm speechless.
As someone in the comment pointed out, it'd be great to hear your thoughts more on the upcoming episodes after you watched it for the first time. from this on until even the current manga, the lore about the world will be heavy that you might also want to go back to review what vegapunk has to say. it'd be fun to hear your theories and your thoughts as well.
On the World sinking. Remember that the water levels rose a few days after Lulusia disappeared off the map towards the beginning of this arc. A giant crater was left right in the middle of the ocean. That makes me think back to Enies Lobby and potentially why Water 7 has been building on top of itself all this time as it's dealt with Aqua Laguna. I don't think it's much of a stretch to say the WG wiped an island off the map a long time ago and built Enies Lobby on top of it. Now Water 7 and the surrounding islands have to deal with excess water flooding up from a giant crater making tsunami's that were created by a death laser

I think it would be nicer if you stayed a little longer at the end so we can hear more of your thoughts on the videos now that you are caught up. AND it would make for an amazing perk for patreon members. Or a small stream to talk about the recent episode with members that are caught up
So Jack I don't think you quite understand how Bonney's Age-Age Fruit works, she's not growing or shrinking she's just changing her Age, what we learned in her Backstory and this Arc is that she can create What iF scenarios like what if I was Super Strong or what if my body was Stretchy like the stories Kuma told her about Nika, in this episode she created a What if I was a Giant scenario
Yeah and I recall she couldn't do as much when she didn't think she could. Almost like discount Nika fruit lol
