62 was the first episode of Bleach I saw on Adult Swim and it was so jarring I went back immediately and watched it all. I'll never forget seeing the Menos tearing through the sky without me even knowing what a Hollow was, the fact that some kind of creature I didn't know existed could just tear through the sky in any show at any moment was like a lifechanging thought. Also Captain Unohana is like a, "Ultimate healer" since she's the captain of Squad 4, but Momo probably should still be dead anyway xD her middle name must be Pell. Also Hado/Kido/Bakudo is harder to cast the higher the number, so when Aizen used Hado 90 that was one of the highest level Hado spells.
I love how aizen monologues and explain all of his plans then got interrupted by komamura then continues where he left off after he dealt with him like nothing happened… lol
like someone else said idt you need to react to 109 bc it's mostly filler, only the very last scene is canon, so you can probably just start from 110! Also in the next arc, there are a few characters from the filler arc that stick around so you might be confused. They aren't important so you can just ignore them bc they eventually disappear within a couple episodes.
honestly you can skip ep 109 because only like the second half of the episode is relevant to the new arc, and very minimally at that. If I recall correctly, the first half just wraps up the filler. Some filler characters become mixed in with the main characters for a little bit but you can just enjoy them for the little time they pop up. The arc truly starts off at ep 110, but its just a recommendation and ultimately your decision if you want to do ep 109.
Just so you know the Bleach anime does this weird thing from this point on, where they add random filler characters to the main plot for whatever reason, so if you see random people who just show up and act like they’ve been part of the show since the beginning just know they aren’t real and never existed in the manga.
the Bount arc isnt that bad but if you dont want to halt the pacing of the actual story then yeah skip
It sucks that it's such a short fast paced anime that has no fluff world or character building in the canon and the filler has to do the work it for it.
shows why aizen was so confident to monologue he had a out prepared, also annoyed me no one was angry at urahara for deceiving and manipulating rukia, one apology and all good
I think it was generally understood by Ichigo and friends that Urahara betrayed Rukia and was going to turn her into a human as a last resort to try to save the world from Aizen. That does not make it right, but it's a pretty good excuse as far as excuses go.
