[PATREON Content of the Day! - Aug 10!]

Kuma is the GOAT.

Welp, Oda succeeded. It took almost 4 years but he finally killed Jack's soul.

Were you expecting episodes to be like this when you watched episode 1

Love that he was so fixated on why he protected the sunny all that time when it was explained literally immediately after it was revealed he did that

Well done Jack… well done.

I was sobbing right alongside you

He's NOT the stepdad. He's the dad who stepped UP.

"The hardest part is behind us" -Famous last words

the last bit where we see what happened in Kuma's life is I think what Bonney saw

im over here trying to bawl my eyes out but i cant when i look at jack and hes more of a mess than me

if your wondering Kizaru gave luffy the food, to quote Oda himself "a person of “speed of light could have given luffy that food" SBS 110

Some episodes ago, when they ran to get Sunny to leave, Luffy mentioned softly to Bonney that he knew Bonney cried the whole night after seeing Kuma's memories, and he's glad that Bonney isn't sad anymore and can laugh a lot with them now. It feels like Luffy did the big brother role really well since Wano, (Tama, Momo), knowing that he's 19 and Bonney is 12 now. Even though he grew up as the youngest in his family. Plus, he's the hero Bonney has been searching and looking for all this time.. I'm so glad that they found each other.

watched 1136 for the third time but in the end of the episode I still was like Jack for real

thumbnail as expected lol

oh yeah, and this is also the first time Bonney saw what Ginny looks like through Kuma's memories... :) Fuck Saturn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CI - NE - MA

Therapists all over be making millions thanks to Oda 😭

First time I've ever seen jack not cry through a One Piece backstory.

lmfaooo jack.........

So how is jack gonna structure now cause he doesn't have two episodes to do each week...

I'm a manga reader and a while ago I started re-watching the anime alongside you and oh man what a journey! This flashback doesn't hit nearly as hard in the manga. Just watched it for the first time with you and it destroyed me. It's been a hell of a journey. Thanks jack, you a cool dude. peace peace

Jack, the only reason why Kuma was in Mary Geoise was to cross the redline 😅 (Egghead is in the New World while Kamabakka Kingdom is in the first half of the grand line)

that thumbnail says it all

Kuma is a real man and father - one we can all aspire to be

She is called jewelry bonney for a reason, the bluestones, her desease, were called jewels by Kuma

The ending of Kuma's backstory broke me in the manga. With voice acting and animation, it devastated me. From the moment he starts running until the end of the episode, I'm just drowning in tears.

Alpha is Califa's older sister, Kizaru did uber, Vegapunk did not leave a part left, Saturn could check his homework, thats all natural Kuma

When I said you'd be on the floor after this I didn't mean it literally, but I get it bro. I've watched 1136 like 3-4 times and I still end in a sea of tears afterwards. Hands down the best backstory in the show up to this point imo and I don't know how Oda can top that but I wouldn't be surprised if he found a way. It's incredible how far this backstory goes, going from like 48 years ago or wtv it was to the beginning of the show, arlong, thriller bark, marineford, sabaody, and seeing how much of a silent effect Kuma had on not only the straw hats but the rest of the world. Without him the story wouldn't exist as we know it but he was only ever hated and dragged through the mud for it, and he never asked for a single thing in return except for bonney's safety. I don't remember where I saw it but I read a comment saying that Kuma is character that Oda wrote with a golden pen and I couldn't agree more. Everything he did, everything he sacrificed so that Bonney and the straw hats could continue mean so much to me and I will remember these few episodes for the rest of my life. GODA

Man, I feel so bad for Jack, who had to watch these two episodes back to back! Most of us had least a break for a week between them!

OMG!!! I cried so much... again... I love you, Jack.

Kizaru is so goated man

These two episodes are currently tied with each other for the number one rated one piece episode on imdb. Not surprising at all and very well deserved.

i had to take a break when kuma's flashback started, i stopped watching at episode 1131 and today i decided to watch the rest and my head is spinning... i cried so much that my head feels like it's going to explode fr and i just realized that today is father's day here so yeah one piece destroyed me again for the thousandth time idk

So jack, saddest backstory? Also, no matter how many times I watch it, I still ugly cry 😭😭😭😭

Brilliant thumbnails

had to take a break after the first episode as well bc I'd managed to cry so hard I got a headache. had to look for a paracetamol and xanax while still ugly sobbing. fun pirate show.

Ok for once I'm with Jack that Kuma episode hit me at the end.

Reasonable breakdown when Vegapunk delivered that "troubling" line. The VA did a damn fantastic job. Also yes, it's confirmed that Kizaru did in fact fed Luffy.

I don't think I've seen Jack this broken before. But at least the suffering ended - for now.

Perfect thumbnail lol

also Oda always give a major "theme" to each arc, for example WCI is all about family, fishman island is all about "racismn and taught hatred", Wano is about "legacy and becoming the best version of yourself" (momo, luffy, zoro, sanji, yamato, etc.) ... In Egghead is very clear the theme of this ark is "the will on living things" ... with Kuma's tragic destiny ... however remember at the beginig of the arc Lilith mentiones that "no matter how many times she modifies the sea beast... she is no able to FULLY controll them" ... and they "animal instincts" show to hunt sometimes (that's why they attacket the sunny) But also with Stucci ... we know she is a clone of the old Wevil mom, but during the Kumma flashback even herself mentions "it's ironic ... who might suffer more? a clone without "will" or a human that's about to lose it?" ... and Vegapunk stops her and tells her Stucci you're human cut that train of thought you have.... So i like how Oda is hinting that no matter what ... it seems humans have and "indomable spirit" or will ... that no matter how many time passes and the World Goverment keeps trying to oppress, eventually someone like Kuma or Nika will always ended up showing to fight to protect others...

I know you noticed the kids that Kuma healed ended up being his and Ginny's friends years latter ... however i don't know if you realized this yet because you didnt mentioned it, but those 2 kids ... plus more Kuma and Ginny friends the fisherman ended up becoming Bonnie's pirtate crew ... basically Kuma and Ginnies long life friends ended up helping their daughter on her journey to look for her dad again... 🥹 (God please i beg they're okay... since we dont know what happen to them cuz we only rescuied bonny on the entrance of Egghead... 😢)

i love how the thumbnails show the degradation of jacks mental with every passing episode

I sacrificed my sleep for this

drink water everyone, stay hydrated for 1136 haha

Holy thumbnail 😭 I’ve been waiting on this since the teaser clip on stream 🥀💔 absolute cinema

WE ARE HERE BABY... i'm not ready to go through this again...

is there going to be a reaction to one piece season 2 live action?
