[PATREON Content of the Day! - May 25!]

Wait so I paid and you don’t even have the video? I’m just watching you with no reference? Want my $ back. That’s bull

You should probably go back and watch Skypeia, especially the episodes where they talk about shandorian culture you’re gonna realize something was in your face this whole time

imagine Kaidos POV: he just got done fighting 18 dudes on his roof at 3 am and the strongest dude who he's knocked down 4 times gets back up and toys with him all while laughing his ass off... I wouldnt even know what to think if I was kaido

I'm sure you know by now but basically, whatever he imagines he can do

I want 1100 so bad, that's my fav gear 5 fight so far

Nah Charlotte WinWin takes G5 Luffy high diff (Oda told me)(the BM agenda will never die)

5th Gear is so so good in the dub. After Luffy got blasted off of Onigashima in 1072, he said "Despicable!" like Daffy Duck

BEAT LOUDLY, HEARTBEAT! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁

So much happens at once, after 1072 I thought the reaction was over and almost closed out hahaha. Got a whole other episode to go!

luffy many many episodes ago; "take this seriously" kaido "lol no" kaido this episode "take this seriously " luffy: "lol no"

I love how in this fight Kaido is telling Luffy to take it seriously after he was fighting drunk and Luffy told him the same, also Luffy asking Kaido if he's having fun, he's completely reversed the roles in the fight.

I only realized recently that Shanks wanted to give the fruit to Ace, because he's Roger's son. Until he met Luffy. Partly because he ate the fruit without asking, but mostly because he saw Roger in him

This might be my own head canon, someone can clarify this for me if im wrong, but I do believe the last line "Who am I?" is a reference to Go nagai's Cutey Honey manga from the 1970's.

Can't wait to see the bounty changes after these fights.

Oh yeah, Jack, the reason for the whole "Who are you?" and Zunesha clarification that Luffy is LIKE Joyboy, not Joyboy himself (at least not the one that obviously had a relationship with Zunesha) is that Oda correctly foresaw that people would be confused as to whether Gear 5 was a actual possession or not. Given the unusual nature of Gear 5, the insane uncontrollable laughter, and the reveal that it is in fact the Nika fruit, many people immediately thought that Gear 5 was Luffy getting possessed by an ancient god, or at least influenced by its personality. Given that Oda released the chapter with Luffy reaffirming that it's just Luffy being Luffy directly after Gear 5 was first revealed, it's safe to assume that Oda knew that people would debate about this and settled it immediately. Gear 5 probably has some minor effect of filling its user with joy given that Luffy himself seems confused about why he feels so free and happy, but it's definitely still Luffy in control and he isn't controlled by those emotions, just influenced by them. Since you're caught up to current episode by now, you will have already seen many instances of Luffy being more serious in Gear 5, so it's also safe to assume that Luffy gains more control of his Nika form the more he practices with it and the emotions that come with it are not too difficult to control after a while.

Speaking off Zou, Franky's shirt in Zou teased gear 5 because the shirt spelled hito (human which is the name of the fruit) with the "o" being a sun which implies sun god nika

Honestly, the reason the World Government didn’t kill Luffy earlier likely comes down to a mix of ignorance, underestimation, and just bad luck on their part. The timeline hasn’t been fully revealed yet, but here’s how I see it: Back when they first heard of him, around Alabasta, Luffy was just a rookie with a supposedly “Paramecia” rubber fruit, so he didn’t seem like a real threat. The elders probably thought the Marines would handle him if needed. Plus, if they couldn’t find the fruit for 800 years, they may have assumed Joy Boy would never return, or that the fruit had disappeared forever. Maybe it was even hidden at Raftel and only respawned in Luffy’s time due to some unknown reason or Joy Boy’s foresight. As for Luffy himself, he stayed off their radar for a long time. After Alabasta, he went to Skypiea, an unregistered sky island nobody knew about. Then Water 7 and Enies Lobby happened, but CP9’s main focus was Robin, not Luffy. After that came Thriller Bark and then Sabaody, where Kuma let the crew escape, likely on Dragon’s orders. Then Luffy got caught up in Impel Down and Marineford, chaotic situations where no one could have predicted his actions. Post-time skip, he popped back up at Sabaody, then Fishman Island, where G5 waited, but a whirlpool diverted him. That’s what they mean when they say the fruit keeps evading them. He shows up on Punk Hazard, which was unknown territory, then Dressrosa, which CP0 didn’t even realize he was in until after he left. Then Zou, and then Whole Cake Island. No one expected him to walk into Big Mom’s territory and come out alive. The World Government wouldn’t dare risk invading her island. Finally, in Wano, CP0 had agents, but they only confirmed the Straw Hats were on Onigashima once the raid started. Even then, after Luffy’s first loss to Kaido, they thought it was over. Only when he returned and awakened his fruit did the World Government actually panic and try to eliminate him.

Idk how Jack survives the next episode 😭🙏

Gear 5 is the most Luffy that Luffy has ever Luffied. That's like Luffiest we've ever seen Luffy in an entire show.

1 more episode for one of the greatest action sequences in op to date

I feel that the reason the WG wasnt doing much to retrieve the fruist is the same as why dragon isnt making much right now They're playing chess with the world, its a patience game and they know that fruit is elusive "has a soul of its own" as they said so they probably just settled with making sure it doesnt awaken instead of making weird move that'll make the general pop wonder wtf is going on

It’s time for the crackhead to let loose

its time...
