There's another amazing freeze frame when yamato is cooking his thunder bagua at 22:54, goes hard AF!
Ryuma is centuries old, I'm don't off the dome if he's Void Century old but he's OLD old
im not sure on the timeline but i think ryuma lived 200 years after the void century
Yamato came out of nowhere in Onigashima, and I'm glad that we got his backstory when we did. It cemented more of his reasoning behind becoming Oden, and also showed how much of a "good" father Kaido is lmao. Anyway, like you said, Yamato is only there to stall him until Luffy comes back, but Kaido is Luffy's enemy only. It's a one man job from now on.
My headcanon is that when Yamato started to rebel, Kaido thought "damn I actually have to discipline my kid, how do I even do that? wait I should call Linlin, she's got tons of kids she will know what to do" and Linlin was like "oh yeah I usually just torture them a little and then they calm down"
Every since he moved, Jack has been STRUGGLING without Wall Piece
Zoro is ryuma descendant, and Shimotsuki Ushimaru nephew, Zoro mom is Ushimaru sister. ODA revealed it in a SBS and only hinted at it during wano. If im not mistaken i believe Zoro village is called Shimotsuki Village. Zoro linage was something oda thought we would just pick up on it
Slight correction, Zoro’s grandma is ushimaru’s sister. So Ushimaru is Zoro‘s granduncle
I personally dont really care about Yamato's backstory on this, idk she doesn't do it for me. She does seem cool but idk. Might be a hot take but the Samurais are way more interesting
is it going to kill you to say "he"
The egg on Roger's ship serves the same role as Chopper: emergency food.
bro ryuma was like centuries ago i swear jack pmo so much sometimes
Was waiting for this one!
