honestly if he not trusted kaido and orochi word and some how got message to white beard for help, im sure he would help his little brother, and the situation could have turned around alas Oden tried to resolve it himself

I thought they were being too naive and in denial to find a rat between them. Like why are they not even being suspicious about a spy from back then? Are they going to another raid without stopping and wondering why the last attempt failed? The information getting leaked out 20 years ago and even now. The spy between them is like a sore thumb, it stood out. Ignoring the obvious in an operation like this is just like a ticking bomb.

I do agree Oden stood a chance against Kaido if he fought him straight up. But I also agree that Oden was way too naive about how he handled the situation. Who knows how it would've played out because of the spy but trusting any deal from Orochi or Kaido will almost certaintly turn out bad.

Kaido is never afraid, after all he has been looking for a battle to die in since the rocks days He was just absolutely pissed that someone interrupted his battle to the death with Oden
Yeah, I think Jack is making the mistake of looking at Orochi and Kaido as the same entity. Orochi is absolutely a rat, and Kaido is without doubt evil. But that look on his face wasn't fear, it was shock. He finally found what he was looking for, an even match on the battlefield, a fight that had some real stakes to it, and then it was all snatched away using petty tricks. He felt utterly defeated.
Someone tell Jack about the frame by frame forwarding, especially seeing the kind of animation we're about to get into and the amount of amazing impact frames hidden away
