Chopper said royal like vivi and neptune, those aren't celestials
Big Mom's musical introduction is IMO the best villain reveal we get in one piece. it is, AMAZING. The cross between "utopia of sweets and singing" and "slaughter and pillaging for the high class" is so cool
royal family isnt the same as celestials jack
How many of you think Jack knows the WCI cast is the Straw Hats that didn't stay in Dressrosa?
I've just rewatched every possible reaction to hear various "SHE KNOOOOOOOOWSS" from people ahahah I love this, I was terrified, for me her intro was the scariest among the scariest things
The new whole cake island soundtracks are all amazing but the best one.. you'll know once you get to the certain episode. it's the best one in the arc, even imo, one of the top in the series. Enjoy Whole Cake Island, one of my personal top 3 arcs in term of writing!
The "Donut guy" soundtrack??
Jack, don't read, spoilers. Brook is at a low now, with just how many times he's talked about panties, but damn. He truly goes from a 0 to 100 in this arc.
WHEN HE CALLS HER "YOUNG LADY" ... PEAK
Oda: I'm going to make a pirate manga Editor: so it'll just be stuff on the high seas and maybe a bit wacky Oda drafting a halloween arc, a disney arc, putting together a world so weird and wacky that none of this seems out of place in any way Oda: sure bit more on the wacky i guess
love his guess that the final boss of the island is a cupcake. looking forward to these reactions..
man why is Yonji kind of fine 😭
No Jack the building was not actually expired. Pudding said that to cover for them so they don't get arrested. It's minor I knowww but I got the ick when he didn't catch that
I think it's relatively important, cause it's a pretty important characterization detail that shows how selfless she was acting and how passionate she is about baking her pastries. I couldn't tell if he realized that it wasn't actually getting demolished, so might as well let him know. She basically forgave them instantly for eating her entire shop just cause they enjoyed how it tasted lmao.
Man brooks slide and transition into tea sipping was boss as hell a true cultured gentleman.
the amount of time it took you to realize that was pudding was so funny lmao "why did they hide her face as if we would recognize her?" LMAO
I can honestly say it's sometimes far more entertaining when something doesn't click right away for Jack, cause then he has a hilarious heart attack later when he realizes he somehow missed it LOL.
“She’s so fine” caught me off guard 😭💀
I had to reassure myself that he was joking because he sounded so serious lol
After rewatching Big Mom's introduction, I now realize how great of a sequence this was. The visuals and songs was already great but the facade of lovely fairytale vibes at the beginning then slowly baring the true darker side of Big Mom. Jack's reaction really showed what the whole sequence was meant to invoke to its watchers. Nice reactions as always.
Same, I was thinking it was really well done in retrospect to establish Big Mom's whole vibe and character. There is this facade of anti-discrimation, sweets, sing-alongs, and objects cheerfully coming to life that make you think she might be an ok person. Then, you see that she is a ruthless pirate who will rob and kill to get whatever she wants and the whole situation of objects coming to life becomes quite terrifying.
WEDDING CAKEEE!
Pls no. The week to week ptsd 🤣
In retrospect, Big Mom's introduction here is so creepy and well done. It's a twisted version of a musical and I love it.
The Sky Walk CP9 and Sanji do are different from the shoes developed for Germa 66, one's a technique and one's technology, Luffy uses Shave himself as well another of CP9's techniques. Also just because theyre royal doesnt mean theyre Celestial Dragons, Riku and Rebecca are just regular royalty as most royalty are. Another note would be Luffy didnt immediately die due to his little incident with Magellan in Impel Down gave him poison resist.
I'm pretty sure that Jack knows the hover boots and skywalk are different lol, that's obvious. He was saying they resemble each other in their effects, which is true. Even though Sanji doesn't have the hover boots, he has skywalk so the Vinsmokes can all fly thanks to that. It's just an interesting commonality to note. The other stuff you mentioned is good to make note of for him, though.
