To be clear, his parents did not want an "exceptional child" or push that on him. They were scared for him to grow up differently for his own sake. Sure this is in the end his parents fault, but I don't think that they're trash parents or child abusers lol that's a bit much. They didn't know what they were getting themselves roped into.
