Hey Jack. On Mappa's YouTube Channel there is an Vinland Saga season 2 Episode 6.5 called "Drowning in the Shadow" which is only 2minutes 35seconds long. It's basically the first half of the scene that is at the beginning of episode 8 that gives more context to that scene(Not sure why they didn't call it 7.5 instead 🤷🏿‍♂️ since the beginning of episode 8 picks up where 6.5 left off). There's no need for subtitles because there's no talking in the scene. You can have a mod or someone here confirm what I'm talking about. Dunno if you want to watch it on your own before the episode or somehow include it in the reaction. It's up to you.

I'm not an expert on the Norse culture, but I believe "thing" is an Old Norse term for an assembly or tribal council rather than an English word.
