IIRC Luffy used Gomu Gomu no UFO back in Impel Down

Bonus Bit: with Gum Gum UFO, it is a rarely used ability, but one thing Oda said in an SBS iirc, is that he goes through forums about One Piece looking for abilities he hasn't used in a while, then reintroduces them.
People only need to take a single bite of a devil fruit to gain the powers, so for tontattas they would only need a single bite, not eat the whole fruit if that was the case x)
Love Barto's fantasies. Him and Boa would either bond over their imagined relationships to Luffy or would become bitter rivals for his affection.

Some very good insight from Jack in this one, in regards to people's willingness to follow Luffy, who continues to both inspire and unite so many people under him without really trying by just being who he is. Especially because we got a glimpse of Law yelling at Luffy for taking too long; Law who continues to see Luffy as an equal and treats him as such. It wasn't until Dressrosa before I realised how desperately that was needed. As much as I love seeing the way Luffy unifies everyone and how everyone places their faith in him, it's reassuring to have someone who neither sees Luffy as a new generation trying to catch up (like Rayleigh, Shanks and really everyone who has been around for a long time; friend or foe alike) or someone worth following. Neither above nor below but the same. So this alliance is good for Luffy too; to have some occasional push back for his stubbornness by someone who wouldn't have to give in if Luffy made it an order (like his crew) from someone who can see with him eye to eye. :D (Edit: Typo)
The sunflower field shots with Rebecca and the piano were indeed beautiful 😊. It felt so warm and pleasant during those moments, I'm a sucker for nice music + nice scenery.
And for Gum-Gum UFO, Luffy has used it once before. He used it on Punk Hazard vs Caesar's henchman after Zoro gave his speech about taking the New World seriously, and it was great comedic timing. That might be the only other time he has used it, it's the only one I remember.
