Update regarding my eyes
As most of you know by now, I've had the misfortune of getting an eye infection about two weeks back.
Most of the original infection has passed, but I now have a new problem, that might have been caused by that eye infection. I am light sensitive and I get some serious irritation that leads to pain in my right eye, making it almost impossible to work. I've also lost some vision on the eye (I can still see, but it is fairly noticeable).
I went to a doctor today who checked my eyes and said that it's most likely beyond him (as a general practitioner(he suggested that it might be iritis but couldn't say for sure)) and so he made some calls and managed to get me an appointment with an eye specialist at the large hospital nearby, tomorrow morning.
Hopefully, they will be able to determine what's wrong with my eyes, and fix it. I'm sorry for the lack of updates recently. I will make it up to you guys, in some way, as soon as my eyes are better. I just can't really work the way my eyes are at the moment. I hope you understand.

Your first priority should always be your health; get yourself healthy again.
Is there an option of getting an eyepatch or something in the meantime, to not hurt your eye in the meantime? I'm sorry to hear all that, Dr. G...

For myself I'd say don't worry about us, just take care of your eyes man.
might be the "long tail" of the recovery curve. i wouldn't be surprised if they tell you to go easy on your eyes for a while so it can finish healing. in any case, take care of yourself for now. we'll still be here
I'm so glad you finally have an appointment with the specialist. This post kinda downplays the seriousness of what you've been going through.
I don't want people to think I'm dying over here or anything. It's enough that one person's panicking.
As someone with eye problems myself I hope the specialist is able to help.
