Infernora & Hydrangela (#WF09)

Hello awesome people!
Here comes the ninth card in our collection, and it's a rare and special one: INFERNORA & HYDRANGELA, our very first DOUBLE WAIFERIAL CARD!

Every ninth card in the collection will feature one of these special duos, offering a strategic advantage to anyone who manages to bring them into play! Of course, they'll also make things harder for your opponent because... just look at how gorgeous these two are together! How could anyone resist them?!
About the card design, Arechan and I, who work together on every card, mechanic, and idea behind Waiferials, decided to reveal the collection in order, one card at a time.
However, the design of this special card is still a work in progress! Rather than skipping it, postponing the reveal, or showing you a temporary card layout, we decided to share its FULL ART anyway!

SO, HOW WILL DOUBLE WAIFERIALS WORK?
For now, here's what I can tell you: this card will definitely have a much higher HP pool than regular Waiferials, a devastating attack, and a higher point reward for anyone who manages to defeat it!
In other words, a powerful card with a potentially big drawback! We're already thinking about how to keep things balanced, although the exact mechanics are still being developed.
I hope you won't mind waiting a little longer to see the final designs of these more elaborate cards!

The collection continues! Cards 10 through 18 will introduce new Waiferials following the same type order you've seen so far: Water, Fire, Grass, and so on, until we reach the next special double card, featuring a completely different pair of types!
I really hope you're enjoying this project as much as we're enjoying creating it. There's still so much we want to show you!

I'm also preparing a couple of Halloween sketches, so expect a few more posts over the next few days before our first official November release!
Stay tuned, and thank you so much for following Waiferials from the very beginning! ;)
