No, you should listen to criticism, why the fuc you creating an echo chamber for people to keep enabling your stupidity, you should learn from your mistake, not get enabled so you can do it again, what are you a child? be a man, own up to your mistake and fix your problem, it's a harem romance game, why the fuc we want to see the girl getting raped? are you dense? rewrite it.

Oldcat, Echoes is a great story. It is a fact of life that many NTR scenes are real-life scenarios that happen every day. It brings realism to your story. That little bit of NTR brought the true pain out to the front. If those people can't take it, then let them go read fantasy. I am really, truly sorry for the backlash that has dropped on you. Turn off the comments, don't allow anyone to comment. Constructive criticism is always good to improve viewpoints, sentence structure, and vocabulary. However, I believe most of those damaging comments were not like that. If they attacked you personally, then they are ignorant arseholes that live in fantasy land. Don't listen to them! Myth of Slayer is also a favorite of mine and brought me here. Echoes is what keeps me here. Stay true to your stories.

i know this is a late reply and its long but hopefully it might help you...just a lil bit... im too into myth of slayer to have it potentially axed because some losers online get mad about ntr. they act like there really dating these charecters and watched a dude have his way with her lol. with the whole "ntr vs no ntr" debate people endlessly fight about it doesnt matter man. if they stop playing the game because of some renders they can just hit skip through then thats on them and arent the right subs for you. Honestly you should find a big group of people who have different ideas and use them as a test group for feedback....then maybe make a poll for the public to answer. with a poll you limit all the people who complain with paragraphs and instead force them to just click on whatever poll answer they like That way you can still get feedback while also avoiding the overly negative peoples words who do nothing but delay and confuse your creative flow. I understand your goal is to make as many people happy as you can and obviously get more subs to help fund your projects...but from what you said trying to make everyone happy instead makes you unhappy. you dont want that. the people who really enjoy the work you put out dont want you to feel that. hang in there man and remember there just words on a screen focus on what you want to do and know you got people who have your back.

Hey, don't let stupid criticism get you down. These people obviously have their own unresolved issues. You're just telling your story, and you're doing it well. Why do some people act as if it were their own story and think they have a say in it? When I read a novel or watch a film, I can't choose what happens either. And sometimes I don't like certain things or they even shock me. But most of the time, those are the scenes that create drama or steer the plot in a certain direction... So don't let yourself be swayed and just do your thing. Best wishes from Germany and continued success!

Playing through the cheating scene again, I feel like the player could've been warned better. Maybe adding an NTR warning instead of stating that its just a sex scene would be good. Additionally, skipping to a point further ahead when the player does decide to skip might be better too. I understand why Echoes is written like that. Putting yourself in MC shoes and feeling those emotions is a part of understanding his background. Its just that some people have strong feelings about NTR. A lot of us look forward to updates on Echoes, myself included. Don't let the opinion of a few bog you down. You make excellent content Oldcat!

Hey Oldcat, fuck those people. I hate NTR so much, but even then, it's only one scene (which you can skip) in a game where you get a harem and it's with a character that isn't even an option. Take the time you need to get in the right headspace but just know that your actual fans are enjoying the story you're telling here.

Oldcat, I know from forums, that many ppl prefer to know about NTR in advance or get an option to tune(enable/disable) it in-game. I personally don't care much and for your game it's the main trauma reason for MC, so I don't see a way to cut this part off. I wish you to get over this soon man, just try not to take it close to hearth - You can never please everyone, that's that actually makes each of us, individuals, unique, instead of being one grey mass. Also the NTR part of the past here(Its not like we are sharing our new gals with bros, yea? xD) heats the hatred against the chick and old sneaky bastard(He never was a friend - just a two-faced snake) making them good antagonist duo, whom we would like to kIll xDDD. "I’m now afraid to fully tell the stories I want to tell, fearing I might accidentally touch on another sensitive nerve" I would advice against that - this is a path to self-destruction and mental stresses. Better make the enemies strengthen you and eat their souls xDDD

While I'm not a fan of NTR personally, it's your game to make as you see fit. I would only suggest being up front about it and letting the community know that the game will include that type of stuff.

Wow, are they really that delicate? Those people aren't going to do well in RL because shit happens. IMO if they don't like the story they should stop reading/playing it. I have stories I've stopped reading because they got too deep into torture, misery, and/or despair but I didn't write off that author, let alone vilify or attack them. Those just aren't my kind of entertainment. Obviously a lot of people disagree, given the popularity of GoT. Another creator switched to a story focused on B&D and I was out because while I don't mind an occasional scene like that, it's just not interesting enough to me for a whole story. But that didn't make that creator a bad person, just someone with different interests. I wished them well. À chacun ses goûts, n'est-ce pas? That said, every creator is going to have haters. Seriously, some will hate you on principle, having never seen you work. Some will see it and hate that your tastes aren't just like theirs. Some will be fans, then when you change something, hate you as a betrayer. I've seen all this over and over. If you plan to remain a creator you must find a way to cope with this. In the modern, connected world every writer, actor, game designer, and artist faces this. For perspective, go watch some reels of actors reading mean tweets. Hilarious.

let me say I like your story so far and can't wait for more. with that being said I understand the backlash because mainly your focused more on story than gooning so the non NTR lovers flock to AVNs with both smut(vanilla) and a story like yours (correct me if I'm wrong but you didn't add the NTR tag in the main page?)
