People of Meridius - The Svebaurs

"The Svebaurs are a hardy breed of bird-taur people who hail from the region of Nordmark, in the cold northern reaches of Meridius. They are a farming folk, bound closely to the land and the natural rhythms of the seasons.

Nordmark has never been a gentle land, and every free Svebaur is expected to defend their farmstead and village when called upon.

To the Svebaurs, land, kin, and duty are closely bound. A good life is one honestly worked"
