Movie Recommendations please
Simple as the headline suggests - please drop some move recommendations for reactions. Horror is good as it works great for the format, but I'm open to anything.
Obviously, the ANDOR TV Reactions have begun and I'll be smashing through multiple episodes on Tuesday.

Spotlight is a good film
Widow’s Bay on Apple TV!
In Bruges (2008) is a brilliant dark comedy-drama, would love a reaction
Jon you gotta watch The Lighthouse by Robert Eggars, great psychological horror.
In the realm of the senses, it'll be a good patreon exclusive
No more country for old men
Shutter Island, The Prestiege, Se7en, Seven Pounds, Collateral Beauty
children of men, parasite, bugonia
have you seen No country for old men?
Undertone! Crazy sound design
What about something out of your cultural wheelhouse (presumably) like a baseball movie. Maybe “The Natural”, “A League of Their Own”, or “Moneyball”?
The Raid 1 & 2, if you haven't seen them before
oh and last but not least perfect blue by satoshi kon!
The Lighthouse is my fav horror to recommend, Robert Eggers (writer/director) also has a new movie on the way. All of his movies are fantastic, I think the Northman is super underrated and probably the most committed Viking movie I’ve seen with really similar themes to Vinland Saga
eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
everyone's probably already saying obsession (which i also would love to see you react to!) but i rec parasite if you havent watched already!
21 and 22 jump street
No other choice - One of the very best films from last year, got snubbed by the Oscar’s. Very similar in tone and style to Parasite
ANDOR IS INCREDIBLE, probably the best thing disney has done with star wars
Inland Empire... It'll definitely be an experience. Either that or Lost Highway. I'm a David Lynch fan. 😂
The Before Trilogy: Before Sunrise Before Sunset Before Midnight
Yes! I would love to get his perspective on these. Some of the greatest films about love over time
If you want horror, Train to Busan
Grosse Pointe Blank - one of the most underrated comedies ever
Bugonia one of the best movies from last year
Mad Max: Fury Road Furiosa
There Will Be Blood
Shutter Island if you haven't seen it would be great!! One of my favourite movies
If you’re looking for horror moves that would work for a reaction, I’d definitely say Obsession or The First Omen. Outside of the genre, I’d recommend tick, tick… BOOM! and Everything, Everywhere, All at Once.
Escape From New York
Gotta watch Parasite! Such a reliable movie. Also if you want a really interesting horror movie I’d recommend Cure 1997.
Obsession or project Hail Mary!
Project hail mary
The Fall (2006) is one of my favourite films and it’s so underrated imo
Children of Men
This ^^^
Not horror and released a long time ago, but I think you'll enjoy 1961 Yojimbo by Akira Kurosawa if you haven't explored his filmography. Another one is 1984 Paris, Texas by Wim Wenders. Bit slow paced but worth watching.
Yojimbo is incredible
Nirvana the band the show the movie is a must watch, and right up your alley
The Prestige
Bring Her Back by the same directors as Talk to Me. Might be even better than Talk to Me imo
interstellar
Not horror, but I recommend Blindspotting if you've not seen it
It's free on YouTube!
12 Angry Men came out nearly 70 years ago, and is such a simple and stunning film. I was worried a film from So far back would fall into the category of being far too slow, but this is brilliantly paced. So well written, and only 90 mins, well worth a watch!
If you havent seen it yet i highly recommend Sinners by Ryan Coogler, absolutely amazing movie!
I have! Banger.
Whiplash
sorry it's not my tempo
The Perfect Host
dunno what this is!
One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest
f'n classic
I recently watched Arrival and really enjoyed it.
never seen it you know, that or Blade Runner Villeneuve edition
