Sad news

Before you get worried, this time it's not about me, i'm okay and I will have uploaded something very soon.
The topic I want talk about is that sadly we lost a great arist here on patreon. Many probably knows him for his awsome bimbofication and bimbo transformation comics.
I'm talking about 3DK-X. His patreon went dark yesterday and it turned out it was completely removed due to a guideline violation. I still had my hopes up that he will just get a review and will get everything back after some adjustments, but sadly that's not the case. His removal is final, but let he explain it in his own words in the message I added above...
This really made me think again how to proceed forward, and I came to the conclusion that I will do what Amaz2K12 did to secure his Patreon. I will go through my old post and probably remove all comic that has even the slightest possible problematic content in them. This means that they will only be avvessable from my Content Gallery. Let's hope that will be enough.
I also will look into the possibility of Subscribestar. I don't plan to migrate to there, but it can't hurt to have an extra leg to stand on. This is so hard...

Thank you. I prefer Patreon as well and if it's up to me I will never move. Unless Patreon forces me.
Just chiming in to also recommend SubscribeStar, I haven't heard nearly as many (or any) horror stories about changing policies and canceled accounts as I have with Patreon.
Yes, me neither. They just usually say that they worse in some technical and payment aspects that makes them less popular than Patreon. But thank you for your opinion :)

You may not want to go to Subscribestar but I heavily recommend it. I've already seen this happen to several creators I know and the ones that have been able to stay constant are the ones that moved to subscribestar before they had any adverse repurcussions on Patreon. I'm disappointed they are making people censor their shit but I'm happy to know you are still able to put it on the sharedrive and not remove it all together. Unfortunately some artists have freaked out and just deleted everything and won't show it. I've heard no negative things about subscribestar other than the mutual difficulty of seeing old posts that patreon has which is why you had the google drive at least in part in the first place I'm sure.
Thanks for your opinion. I already started the appliance to Sunscribestar and just waiting for thei approval. If everything goes well I have both running the same time but will focus on Patreon. The other one will be a backup with the access to my content gallery.
Is there going to be the same issues in one, three or five years from subscribestar? Could make sense to move, but no point migrating if the same issue will just arise again later down the road.
I don't want to move, and I will do everything in my power to keep my Patreon, but sadly you have a point. The same issue can pop up on Subscribestar tomorrow as far as we know. But I can't see the future so setting it up for extra security is my best idea at the moment.
Yeah, quite a few artists have moved to subscribestar. It sucks, but it kinda seems the only some artists can put their work out. Really hope for the best for 3DK-X and for you, so things don't become so stressful.
Yes, your absolutely right, and it infuriates me, but that's our best option at the moment. And I wish the best to 3DK-X as well. I'm confident that he will bounce back in some form.
Based on the one month to a year wait time for Subscriberstar approval 3DK-X it seems like you should create an account with them now just in case even if you never intend to use it much.
I started the process an hour ago. We'll see how long it takes. Some said it was just a few days for them.
I saw this one artist still have Patreon but most of the work is on the Discord so it would be like links to the Discord and have the photos there and then the Discord is like a full access
I plan to do somethin similar. That's probably the best course of action to secure myself. The issue is that apparently Patreon can reach out to other channels where I upload if they really want to mess with me. But i'm a small fish and hopefully not really care about me that much.

I think moving to Subrscibstar will probably be more beneficial. It's annoying that creators to try and please their base while at the same time having a looming figure over their shoulder ready to close you down in an instant.
Yeah, it's like I have to walk on eggshells all the time and never know when will it crack and break under my feet. I will try to do everything to keep my Patreon running, but it's better to have a plan B if the worst happens.
