Cookbook Recipe Preference
Hi everyone!
I thought I'd do a quick poll to see what we're all preferring cookbook recipe-wise. Seeing as there are a few to choose from now, it would be helpful to find out what everyone is most excited for! 👩🍳
Also, if there's any recipes in particular you are hoping for, feel free to comment them! 💚
I've turned on multiple choice, so pick all your favourites! 😊

Hi, I already messaged you on Twitter, but now I'm thinking I should have posted a comment here instead. I hope that's okay. :-) I love the seasonal and occult recipes from your mods – especially the Halloween cookies, Christmas gingerbread, vampire cupcakes, beautifully decorated birthday cakes and all those adorable animal-shaped desserts... Also your drinks are amazing. They’re so detailed and charming, and I honestly find myself wishing I could have them in my game without having to worry about keeping mods updated after every patch. Since you’ve already created some lovely “grandma’s kitchen” content for The Sims Marketplace, I was wondering whether you might ever consider making a small recipe-focused Kit or Marketplace pack. Would that be possible? Something with beautiful seasonal, celebratory and occult recipes, perhaps with a few special moodlets or effects as well. I would absolutely buy something like that. I'd like to use recipes from packs more often instead of mods, but I'm disappointed that I don't see anything like that there. Of course, I have no idea whether Marketplace content is something you plan to continue making, so please take this simply as a little bit of enthusiastic feedback from a player who really loves your recipes. ❤️
Maybe food inspired by Polish cuisine
I would love to see some more vegetarian and vegan recipes
more asian recipes would be great and some more fine dining recipes
I'm so sad that confectionary is losing, I've been wanting more for the confection/chocolate making mod 😭but I'll love whatever you come out with!!
Nigerian food, Jamaican food, American versions of ethnic food (ALL of North America including Canada), Acadian food, soul food, and more grand royal medieval recipes, are just some of what I would love to see.
American Football season is around the corner, so maybe some tailgating foods like buffalo chicken dip, chili, beer-battered chicken, deviled eggs, etc.
yessss. also i would just more soul food dishes
More canning recipes would be fun, especially ones for more of the in-game plants...like canned green beans, canned green peas, carrots and peas mix, creamed spinach (like with your pourable cream ingredient?), etc. I just love making ingredients and having a full varied pantry in the game with your items!
I exclusively use your cooking mods for my historical gameplay. I'd love to see some recipes from the Regency/Victorian period! Not sure if that would need to be something on its own, but would be so cool!
With thanksgiving and christmas around the corner it would be nice to have some more grand meal options.
I'd love to see more soul food, Caribbean foods, toddler foods, and packed lunches for kids!
Seconding this!
Can we get more toddler foods or an override for the infant foods?
Soul food and Mexican food
All of them, but more medieval would be wonderful, and more vampire recipes
I've been looking forward to more sweets and chocolates that I can use to stock my gourmet candy shop.
I would love more dessert dishes && pasta dishes
Homestead Helper and Grannies Cookbook are both equally beloved by me.
Would love to see more South American dishes (from Colombia, Paraguay, Perú and Argentina specifically bc I feel there's a general lack of it in the game, be it EA or cc). If you feel like creating pastries from this region, I totally recommend you look up Argentinian 'facturas', our traditional sweet treats (the medialunas, cañoncitos, churros with dulce de leche, and suspiros de monja w/creme patissiere are the best). I think they'd totally match your vibe ofdessert/snack and you'd make them look delicious as you always do <3
Scottish food would be good as nobody has made any especially Irn Brew!
Irn Bru is soooo good. But Scottish and/or Irish foods would be different than anything we have access to and would be cool to see
I would love more 4-serving options for the Medieval Cookbook, please!
I would love to see vegetarian recipes in general, especially pasta!
I'm always going to vote medieval
I would love to see the ability to cultivate hemp, just like in medieval times when it was used for making clothing, writing paper, and traditional medicines. It was a truly useful plant, and in your mods, it could offer a variety of crafting recipes.
I would love to see cheesecake sticks as a recipe where you can vary between different toppings.
Recipes from Around the World
I love, love your toddler foods and always happy for more toddler dinners!
Me too!
Soul food, and more savory breakfast items
Oooh I second this girl!
Asian food
I really love the seasonal recipes and would like to see them expanded across cultures!
More desserts
Honestly I'm down for anything cooking wise you do 😂. They're all so fun! That being said, I'm more excited for the Homestead part cuz I've not really explored that much!
I love the idea of like crockpot or comfort dishes and soups for winter and fall in game! I feel like there’s never enough pastas and I love salads and sandwiches! And vegetarian safe food is cool and spicy food!!! I love spicy food but there’s not usually a lot of CC food that is spicy!
I only use Grannies Cookbook, and I love it. I'd really like to see more occult dishes. Something like SeaJellyPuddings, but for other types of occult themes. Yes, I know that Icemunmun already has dishes like that, including various interesting effects on Sims, but they don't always work for me. Grannies Cookbook is more reliable for me. :-)
I use ALL the options but, I tend to use Grannie's the most :)
Could we have carnival food? :)
I'd love to see some Mexican soups - Pozole, Menudo, Albondigas, etc.
Meatballs with brown sauce and boiled potatoes, princess cake, semla, brown cheese, pickeld hearing, kalops and other recepie from scandinavia and nordic countries.
so torn between grannie’s cookbook and homestead helper! i’ve been using that to bake breads and make jams etc so much more lately. adds such a nice touch to my gameplay/lore haha. i think i might have to go with grannie’s cookbook just for the possibilities with more dishes! i’ve seen some comments for some more pastas, sandwiches, cakes and national dishes and i agree, that would be so nice~
Grannies and medieval! Currently doing a save placed in the 1800s 😅
Not necessarily a recipe, but I’d LOVE a prepped ingredient delivery, and something to make available the hunting and foraging ingredients for a more modern gameplay!
Agree fullheartly! Beeing able to buy firewood, pigeons and all other stuff as you usually do in the modern world! Going out and hunt or collect firewood when you live in a suburb feels a bit wierd. Sure it works in like cottage living and horseranch worlds but the rest of them feels a bit to modern with cobblestone, pavements and so on. And sometimes i want to have my sims in an appartment.
Oh and I have never been able to use the whipped cream in homestead helper! I make it and it doesn’t register to be used in recipes.
I would love to have the cottage living fruit pies available for the medieval cookbook. It’s the best historical cooking mod out there so I am using it all the way until electricity 😂 if possible, it would be amazing to have more of the grannies cookbook recipes able to be cooked off the grid.
I'm unhelpful and chose them all because they all bring something to the table!! I love the variety! as for recipes....maybe more korean and chinese dishes?
More occult foods for vampires and werewolves would be nice.
I would love more cookbook styles like cheese making but its okay
The biggest problem I have with your cooking add-ons (and I love them) is that none of my Sims have made your R&L food....😁 it's a great problem to have. Honestly, if I had to ask for "something" I would suggest more American style ethnic food. Tex-Mex, San Francisco/Shanghai China food, Colorado green chili on every, the Sonoran/Greek hybrid of Arizona (ok, I'm partial to that one because of where I grew up)
I love making bread IRL, so would like to see things like honey wheat, and cinnamon raisin breads
Indian vegetarian, samosas, finger foods, picnic things, cakes and birthday foods - these would all be amazing.
A soul food package would be nice!
Definitely!!! Or more black/African American recipes 🤍🤍
i sadly dont play sims anymore because its just too broken for my pc but your mods was my most i just cant imagine playing without them XD i switch to paralives for now im not sure if ill go back to sims maybe once i upgrade my pc
i would loveee to see more foods & desserts from different cultures like an around the world thing <3 and i do love the medieval cookbook as well
Grannies cook book need so much more dessert’s and pasta dishes
Can we have more sandwiches please? I love having my sims make the ham sandwich but would love if they could also do turkey or cheese. Oh and can we have like a fruit tray/meat and cheese one like there is in the Medieval cookbook for those of us that don't use that one.
I'd love to see another birthday set down the line if possible! I use the princess one all the time lol!
I would love more types of pasta. From gnocchis to spaghetti there is so many amazing recipes. :)
Yer agree with that statement more birthday cakes
Ooo! I got a good one for you. I’m making it this weekend. Manicotti. Delish 😉
Chocolate please!!!
