!! Requires XML Injector for reward store injection !!
Creating a Blind trait for the Sims wasn't easy. It took a lot of time and effort. Originally, this was made for my Sim Atticus who, by story-lore, was blinded in a traumatic injury. There was no real way to simulate that outside eye overlays. So I decided to make it.
Note: Compliment Aura [The Romance Social] - It is not intended to sexualize disability. As stated, this trait was designed for a story. My blind sim Atticus can see colored auras [Synesthesia in the Blind] and I wanted a unique way he could compliment his husband. Furthermore, I never intended to release this trait but was urged by friends too. I am very sorry that interaction offends some people. ✨

Please, I wanted to ask that if possible, you update this mod. I saw some old videos about it and wanted to use it in my The Sims, but it doesn't work in the current versions.

unfortunately it's broken at the moment, for anyone looking to instal it. It creates that glitch where you click on a household and it spits you back out to the selection screen

So sad to say, but I can't get this mod to work! I was really excited too. :( I just reinstalled XML injector (I had it but it's been a minute) I only just downloaded your mod, they are both only one folder deep (C:\Users\******\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\Misc Mods) I'm not really sure what I've done wrong. (Yes, script mods are enabled as well. All my other mods are working, but I can't find the blind trait in the rewards store.)

I don't think I can do it justice, but Adeepindigo adopted Dale's deaf trait from MTS and incorporated it into her healthcare redux mod. I would suggest looking at that if you haven't. They make great mods.

Yes. Make sure you have the xml injector script, script files enabled, and script files not more than 1 folder deep.
I have script mods enabled and the XML injector file installed, but the mod doesn't show up in my game. What can I do?
Hmm make sure the xml injector you have is up to date. As well, the script file is not more than 1 folder deep: Mods>FalseHope Mods>Script & package file

Build/Buy objects aren't something I've done before, but the book reading moodlet should imply that all books in game are in Braille. Is there something specific you're looking for?

You need the XML injector linked at the top of the post. The trait is found in the satisfaction reward store.

What do you mean by it isn't working? As long as you have the XML injector script, script mods are enabled, and the script mods are not more than one folder deep.. You can find the dog traits in CAS and the owner trait in the satisfaction reward store. [example: Mods/FH Mods/script & package file]

I've been learning more about the reality of life as a blind person getting rid of ablest misconceptions in the process, mainly through well informed fanworks because adhd makes it easier to learn that way for me I guess but would a sighted guide reward trait for a sim to go along side this, like your guide dog trait, be something you'd ever be interested in doing? Figure I can at least suggest it as I thought it'd be neat to see that represented in gameplay through moodlets and such If you're not though all good, not gonna get upset about it, I know you make your mods for yourself first and foremost and I'm grateful that you share them with us to begin with

Yes, you need to extract the injector file as well. Make sure the script file isn't more than one folder deep. For example, This is How it appears in my own Folder: C:\Users\User\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\XmlInjector_Mods For me, I keep the SCRIPT file inside the Folder "Xmlinjector_Mods" along with other mods that use the injector.
i downloaded this and downlaoded the xml injector v3 and it isnt showing up in my game. do i have exstract the injector file? im confused on why its not working
