Changelog

Fixed:

• The game froze when going to the attic at night (and checking the board).

• The game would freeze if you made Kayley "Happy" during the Sofa scene at college.

• The game would crash if you stalked Taylor with the flash on and then tried to check her locked door.

Not Fixed (Known Issue):

• Very rarely, clicking too fast may cause an error popup and crash the game.

This is a very old bug from my very first game that I’ve tried to improve but never fully fixed. It seems to happen if your PC registers 2 clicks in 1/30 of a second while skipping text.

Workaround: Please use the Right Mouse Button to skip scenes/text. If you keep getting this error, try skipping more slowly.

How to update the game:

1. Download the .zip file provided.

2. Go to your game folder (it should be called "Fake Family Demo")

3. Unzip the update and replace all files when prompted.

4. Start the game normally. The new version should appear on the top right.

⚠️ ATTENTION:

If you don’t use the .bat file to launch the game:

Stop using "!Fake Family.exe" (the one with the "!" before the name).

Instead, always start the game with "Fake Family.exe" from now on.
