I wanted to let you guys know that Madam President VIII is going to be delayed a little bit.

I’m not currently satisfied with the way the script and story are coming together, especially because I’ve decided to bring back Sharon and Pami from the original THV and THV EVO series, as you could probably tell from the teaser ending of Madam President VII. I want to make sure their return actually feels meaningful to the story rather than rushing them in just to meet a deadline.

That said, since Madam President VIII won the vote, I’m going to do my best to make October a big month with a double comic release — and maybe even a Halloween-themed picture pack on top of that.

The two comics planned for October are:

• Madam President VIII

• Farm Grown 5

Realistically, making two full-length comics in the same month would be a pretty difficult goal to meet without completely exhausting myself. So, depending on how production goes, I may make both comics a little shorter than usual and price them lower, somewhere around $10–12 each. I’d rather deliver two solid comics at a reasonable length than overwork myself trying to make both of them huge.

So, what about September?

Well, I actually had something else in the works for a while that I haven’t released yet...

The Office Hog.

The Office Hog is a standalone comic centered around Monica, a secretary working in a corporate office. She’s always been extremely fit, confident, and seemingly in control of everything — including having quite a bit of influence over her boss.

Naturally, her coworkers aren't exactly thrilled about how much power she seems to have.

So they come up with their own little way of bringing her down a peg: frequent office parties, endless food, and plenty of opportunities for Monica to indulge.

At first, it seems harmless.

But little by little, Monica begins to lose control of her appetite. What starts as a few extra treats gradually turns into something much bigger, as her growing appetite takes her further and further than anyone could have imagined.

So while Madam President VIII gets a little more time in the oven, The Office Hog will be taking the spotlight for September.
