What happens in year four of Bloodlines? The results are in!

We've tabulated the results, and it's time to share!

October's poll presented a special opportunity for Defilers and Corruptors to chime-in on where they want future Bloodlines development to focus. They received a wishlist based on comments received throughout the year and chose every statement they agreed with (even if some of those statements contradicted others).

What were the most popular responses?

Out of 82 respondents, 74 agreed that they "want to see more Bloodlines like Mia's (immediate corruption followed by immediate corruption of friends/family)."

54 replied that they "want to see a variety of scenes in Bloodlines (boy-girl, girl-girl, and group scenes)."

49 said they "think the vampiresses should have lots of sexy outfits."

37 said they "usually install the Nicest Patch."

31 respondents would "don't really care about having animations in the game."

30 also said they "only want to see schoolgirls turned into vampires (like Tasha, Hannah, and Annie)."

What were the least popular responses?

Out of 82 respondents, only 1 said "It's hard to navigate the story, now that it's so large."

2 replied that they would "want development to focus on one Bloodline at a time (individual characters' Bloodlines will end way before the game is finished)."

8 felt they "want development to keep the narrative in sync (none of the Bloodlines will conclude until the game is nearly finished)."

8 agreed that "Ben needs to die."

9 said they "usually install the Low Spec Patch."

9 respondents "think the vampiresses should be naked all the time."

What does this mean for future development? Since the most popular response involved more corruptions happening faster, we'll see what we can do as we head into Book Three. We'll also try to maintain a variety of hardcore scenes, since that was more popular than going with only girl/girl or boy/girl scenes.

Since so many people find the story easy to navigate in its current state, I'll try not to put too much development time into UI overhauls. I'll also keep in mind that there's no clear-cut winner for keep the narrative in sync or trying to complete one Bloodline at a time.

I'll also keep the comments with middling popularity in mind, going forward. Even though only a few responses earned more than a 50% approval rate, I won't ignore the requests for things like creating more connections between Bloodlines, requests for short-haired vampiresses, and the demand for more satanic tattoos.
