LESS BAD NEWS: Members Being Overcharged in Old Sticker Club Tiers

EDIT 2/26/26: After going through all the billing data, I've found a pretty clear pattern of who is getting overcharged! Last month, over 100 members were overcharged in the first 20 days of the month. So I manually refunded all of those members for January, and paused the Patreon to give it time to update for the majority of members being billed in the last 10 days of the month. What I've come to find in February is that everyone who was overcharged > refunded last month had their billing updated just fine this month at the new $3 price. However, everyone who was not billed last month because I paused the Patreon is now still being over charged.
I'm in communication with Patreon support now to get this sorted out, but wanted to pass along the info! If you didn't receive a refund notice from me last month, it would be a big help if you manually switch to the new sticker bean tier or something! If you did get one of those refund notices last month, you can disregard this notice, you're all good staying in the old tiers!
It's possible that by letting the last ~170ish of you get billed then refunded this month, we should be all squared away for next month! It's just a hassle with the transaction fees and everything, so if we can avoid it, it would be a big help if you're reading this to make sure you're in one of the new tiers so you don't get overcharged for the month! Hey pals, Bad News Bryson here, back with unfortunate news that while many members of the old sticker club tiers have had their billing correctly updated to the new $3 pricing, several members are still being charged $8+... Patreon Support said the billing could take up to 30 days to update, and it's been well over 30 days at this point.

Good news is you can fix it right now by manually switching to one of the new tiers (the digital bean tier or the sticker bean tier)! Just go to your Settings > Memberships > Bryson McBee , Details > Switch to another tier, and select the new tier you'd like to join! Or if you'd rather not support the new, less frequent sticker club model, you can cancel your pledge and spend that pledge on a gift for someone you love!

I'm really crossing my fingers that we can get all these billing headaches sorted out before next month. Right now I am manually refunding hundreds of members who have been over charged over the last couple months, and it just takes so much time and is so disheartening. Patreon doesn't make it very easy to refund a massive amount of users all at once. I was really optimistic that this would be a smooth transition but I might have to completely restart on a new Patreon account, permanently deactivating this one. It would be a big under taking to migrate all of the sketches, process videos, and tutorials from this page to a new one, so I'm really hoping it won't come to that.

Anyways, in less bummer news, here is the first draft of a trailer for the new and improved demo of Songs of the Shore! Wade and I have worked super hard on this over the last 3 months to rebuild the game to make it run better on low end hardware and play better on a controller so we can get the demo up on Steam! Thanks for all your patience and support on this project, I can't wait to get it out in the world!

Next month I'll be designing a new batch of Songs of the Shore stickers for my longtime supporters who have supported $100+ all time along with some fanart stickers (TBD) for everyone who has supported $8+ all time.
