Playing Relaxed May Slow You Down

Play relaxed, play relaxed as possible, make sure you have no tension, etc. People say this a LOT, and although they mean well, I feel this whole anti-tension approach and trying to be constantly relaxed will actually prevent progress.

There's a balance needed when playing fast and accurate. Play too relaxed, you won't move fast enough. Play with TOO much tension, and you'll also prevent speed.
