Pendulum Picking is Just Alternate Picking

The channel Guitar Mastery put out a video claiming he uses Pendulum Picking, which is not Alternate Picking and requires no slanting or string escape motion.

I feel this is very much like what people in the fitness industry do - rename something basic to try and stand out while also claiming things that are clearly false.

Here is the original video: https://youtu.be/2CNA9ZF-m4U?si=WpO9MDtiZ2x6fmKY
