0.8.3.8 progress report (II)

Hey guys!

Here's another round of previews from this Weekend's scheduled release (0838 A1).

You can find additional information about these features on Discord but here's a short summary:

The Gymnasium (Crow's End)

There's now a civilian alternative to The Arena - a gymnasium which hosts Acrobatics' quarter finals and grand finals on set dates. For over 250 years, many households and great houses have honored the tradition of signing up their top gymnast to these competitions. The MC can assign one of his Followers (if that Follower meets all prerequisites) to the competition.

Winning a competition is hard - the other participants (found in a new $gympart object container) are actively increasing their skills as well and will try to do anything to win the quarters (once every 25 days) but also the grand finals (once every 100 days).

A winning girl is assigned Prestige (Civilian). Winning also gives you a cash and one-time Influence reward, similar to The Arena. Participating in a contest might also increase other skills and trait values, regardless if the girl wins or not.

Wearable jewelry

NPCs can now wear necklaces, which work just like clothes. Some necklaces might have additional effects in addition to Beauty/Charisma mods.

The MC can now also purchase, sell and craft diamond and embryl necklaces.

Prestige 

In 0.8.3.8, a new civilian fame variable has been activated, called Prestige. This value works similar to Fame and has previously had a WIP placeholder on the NPC character sheet.

Prestige is gained by winning gymnastics competitions, performing at The Golden Dragon, lecture as a Professor at The Academy, throwing lavish feasts at The Orient and doing other high-end missions/quest of a more "civilized" kind.

All of the above, plus The Sunderland quest, are fully implemented for 0838 A1 (Friday!)
