07/13/2022 : Werewolves Gamepack Update!!
Well, I knew the day would come, but I certainly didn't expect it to be so soon! The Sims team has put out an official werewolf pack and as promised, I've changed a lot of things about the mod to accommodate the gamepack and its werewolves. There's a lot that has been added and altered, so let's just get right to it!
- First off, my mod werewolves have been renamed thanks to a great suggestion by AS_Princess0421 over on twitter! They will now be referred to as Lycans and are considered a separate occult by the code and the included lore. HOWEVER, werewolf-lycan hybrids are supported by the mod and many changes have been made to enable this, but I recommend downloading the Hybrid Stabilizer Mod to ensure smooth, glitch-free hybrids. Once your sim is a hybrid, their official werewolf form will be the one you edited in CAS.
- More cheats have been added to give players more options! You can now add the lycan lifestate right off the bat on any active sim by enabling testingcheats and shift+clicking them. This includes gamepack werewolves. In fact, you can choose to add the lycan lifestate to ALL WEREWOLVES in the game at once, if you want to! And you can remove the lifestate from selected sims as well. Perks can be directly added without the use of the the Lunar Altar now and the UI for selecting them has been updated.
- Many interactions from the mod have been enabled for gamepack werewolves regardless of whether or not they are a lycan. This includes hunting, gaining perks, using the Moondial, scratching furniture, many social interactions, etc. and these will all contribute to your werewolf's XP. If your sim is a gamepack werewolf only, these interactions will match the icons and pie menus of the gamepack. Interactions have also been updated to include werewolves as targets, such as brawling/fighting, spraying wolfsbane perfume, feeding raw meat, and slaying with the Silver Dagger.
- Gamepack werewolves can be invited to join packs or start their own! The pack can consist of lycans, werewolves, and hybrids in any combination as long as they aren't already part of another pack. Lycans unfortunately cannot join the Wildfangs or the Moonwood Collective, as the trials and many elements of those packs won't work without the official werewolf lifestate.
- Werewolves now have their own Sire/Sired relationship when they turn other sims. This unlocks the same social interactions and abilities as the lycan sire relationship. This will also have the same functionality when it comes to slaying your sim's sire. If your sim slays their sire with the Silver Dagger, this will cure them of the lifestate!
- New lore bits have been added to the Book of the Beast, which will have a small progression of story popups in the form of "chapters" that unlock interactions with the Occult Professor and will explain the origin of lycans as well as tie in some lore from the Fairies vs. Witches mod. ;)
- Multiple small changes have been made. For instance, werewolves with the carnivore temperament can eat raw meat while in human form, the Hematite Amulet and Moonstone Ring have been enabled for werewolves to wear (these reduce their Fury and prevent transforming on full moons), new lunar cycle effects have been added for lycans and will give them different benefits based on the moon phase, the Occult Professor has some new interactions and flavor text, and many more subtle additions!
- MANY, MANY, MANY BUG FIXES. So... many.... *eye twitch*
There are more little things that have been added/changed including updated animations, effects, interaction outcomes, etc., but those were the more important changes to note. Finally, the most important thing to mention, THE WEREWOLVES GAMEPACK IS NOT REQUIRED. It was important to me to allow this mod to retain its original requirements, while incorporating features from the gamepack for those who have it. So, I think I've come to a decent compromise that I hope everyone will like! The Sims 4: Werewolves
With the Werewolves mod, your sims will be able to unleash their inner beast to become a fearsome lycan with supernatural gifts of speed and strength and the not-so-great gifts of shedding and canine breath. But, with the Lycanthrope Lore and Lycanthropy skills, you can combat any of the nasty side effects of being a beast with special perks! Discover the secrets of the lycan life, learn recipes for protection or alteration, fight or play with other lycans or vampires, and definitely think twice before you mate, as raising little pups can be quite a handful!
***This mod requires the Vampires game pack! This is the only pack requirement, but without it, many aspects of the mod WILL NOT function!
There's several aspects of this lifestate to cover, so let's get into it!
How to Start
Much like beginning the journey of becoming a vampire, the world of lycanthropy is discovered with Google! Well, LycanSource.com, actually. Browsing this site on any computer will get your sim started with the Lycanthrope Lore skill. This skill will be the key to unlocking crucial knowledge about being a werewolf as well as protecting yourself against them.
After discovering the skill, your sim can order supplies from the website that will be useful when handling, caring for, or being a lycanthrope. They will also be able to connect with their fellow lycan enthusiasts on an online forum! One of these chatroom-goers may even be the admin of the website, who has some interesting knowledge to share...
The Occult Professor
One of the role sims included in this mod is the Occult Professor, a teacher at Britechester University, who started the website because of his family's unusual heritage.
*Included with the mod is a set of tray files that contain a premade sim who will fulfill this role. Follow the included installation instructions to ensure he is recognized by the game. If the premade sim is not used, no need to worry, a randomized sim will be used instead, but they will have different social interaction outcomes than Thatcher Wolff!
The Occult Professor will be able to be invited over from the computer once your sim meets them. Once they arrive, you will be able to talk to them about the occult and even purchase occult artifacts from them! This includes things like certain spellbooks, magical ingredients, mystical jewelry, and a very special book about lycanthropy...
If they stay into the evening, be sure to ask them about their concerning complexion. They may share an interesting story with you that has surprising side-effects...
Frequent Animal Attacks
One of the ways to become a lycan is to lure one out into the open. While researching Lycanthrope Lore, your sim will learn that they can take a raw steak, go out into a woodsy area where there have been Frequent Animal Attacks, (A new lot trait that needs to be added in build/buy mode!), and use the steak as bait. If there are any nearby lycans, they are sure to sniff out the bait and will make themselves known! They will probably attack if your sim has such a desirable snack on hand, but they can also choose to provoke the creature.
Becoming a Lycan
Once a sim receives the "Mark of the Beast" buff from being attacked by a lycan, their affliction will progress over the next day or so until they complete the transformation, becoming a lycan themselves. By default, new lycans will receive the "Humanoid" wolf form, but this can be changed to two other variations while in human form. If you want to make this choice even sooner, the option will be available while your sim is still in transition and can also be selected for target sims if you enable testingcheats and shift+click on another sim.
Life As a Lycan
As a lycan, your sim will have several abilities right off the bat, including the ability to hunt. This allows them to find random collectibles such as metals, crystals, insects, elements, etc. and they'll even be able to find specific items if they have the Focused Hunter perk. If your sim has lycan friends or has turned other sims, they'll be able to form packs.
Packs allow your lycans to hunt together, call each other from far away or off-lot, unlocks more socials, and gives your wolves a friendship boost with each other. The initiator of each pack will become the Pack Leader and is responsible for finding new wolves to add to the group, approving any that wish to join, and kicking out any trouble-makers. Pack Leaders will also have a higher chance of succeeding in brawls or fights, but if you believe one of your sims is better fit to lead, they may choose to challenge the leader and Fight for Dominance! The winner of this fight will either remain Pack Leader or take over the title.
Lycans have a new motive called Feral Control. This motive will only decay when your sim is in human form and they're tense, angry, or uncomfortable, using certain powers, or are near wolfsbane. Once this bar reaches zero, your lycan sim will transform against their will and be stuck that way for a length of time that is dictated by their Lycanthropy Skill.
Lycanthropy Skill is gained by doing various activities like hunting, transforming by choice, brawling, using perk abilities, and using the Lunar Altar. As the skill increases, your sim will unlock more perks, their transformation will become less painful and feral changes will be shorter, their Feral Control need will decrease at a slower rate, and they'll be more likely to win brawls and fights.
New Objects
There are a few new build/buy items that have different purposes. The Chiseled Lycanthrope statue, the Lunar Altar, and the Moondial. Each one has its own purpose that can be discovered more through gameplay, but the lycanthrope statue does different things depending on what is placed on it, the Lunar Altar allows your sim to craft certain objects once they build their Lycanthrope Lore skill and gain perks with the Lycanthropy skill, and the Moondial has healing and meditative properties.
Other objects can be acquired through learning the Lycanthrope Lore skill or by purchasing them from the computer or through the Occult Professor. They all have uses that range from protection, to convenience, or even transformation!
Perks
Perks can be gained by increasing the Lycanthropy skill and using the Lunar Altar. As your sim increases the skill, they will unlock more useful perks and abilities that can be acquired if you place the proper offerings on the altar. Most perks simply require one moonstone, but a few will need an extra item or two. To gain a perk, simply max your Lycan XP by hunting, brawling, or using other lycan abilities, wait for nightfall, and place the items to unlock the perk options!
CAS Items
Included in the mod are several CAS items, including the three different types of wolf form. These are the humanoid, hybrid, and beast variations. The humanoid and hybrid forms used Nyx's original meshes as a base with several alterations and retextures, while the beast form is a conversion of Murfeel's Skyrim werewolf mesh from The Sims 3 with my own UV map edit. Each form has 6 different color variants that are based on a range of natural hair colors: Black, Blonde, Brown, Dark Brown, Red, and Grey.
There are many other CAS items, including jewelry and skin overlays, but these are mostly used in gameplay elements.

This might be too late to ask but why is it that when my sims transform into werewolves, they freeze and won't do anything even when they transform back they are still frozen?

Hi! I'm getting an error when I try to start my game that says SpinningPlumbobs_WerewolfMod_Lifestate.package is corrupt, which prevents my game from starting ;; I just redownloaded after updating my game today, so I'm not sure if it's the patch or something else.
I put everthing in ThatcherWolff_TrayFiles into Sims 4 Tray folder put Occult Professor does not show up in my households when I load Sims 4
I installed this mod and the suggested mod from the link, and every werewolf in my game disappeared!
Is there any way to change the color of the hair on the humanoid form?
Not sure if this has happened to anyone else yet, but I installed the mod yesterday and while the first part (research Lycan lore, lure wild Lycan, get bitten) worked fine, my Sim would not trigger the Feral state. He had the moodlet, but the Feral Control bar couldn't be dropped into the red with cheats even after I changed the environment settings to be permanent full moons, it would just refill on its own and he would behave like a regular human Sim. I tried to use the Lycan statue, but it only had the "View" interaction, nothing else. On top of that, his tasks bar started glitching out in both human and Lycan forms, randomly raising like there were tasks stacked on top of each other when it was empty. The only way it wouldn't do this is if I gave him a continuous task to do. My lots also started to have issues, with the game thinking I was at the bar when I was at home, so my Sim wouldn't show up to perform any interactions. I ended up having to delete the mod files and manually re-add my Sim's regular traits to fix the problems. I think the August update may have broken something.

Could you please allow lycan werewolf hybrid not be locked to the game pack appearance. It looks so bad and I want my game pack occult on my sim but also be able to use humanoid lycan form
Is it possible for you to make it so that we aren't forced to be in the official werewolf form as the werewolf/lycan hybrid? Also could you make it so the lycan lifestate could be passed to offspring?

I have a werewolf sim who I added the lycan state to. When she is transformed it tells me I can't choose her form whilst she's transformed, but when I send her back to human form the option disappears entirely. Am I missing something? Does she need to level up to make that choice available?

Hello, I'm writing to report a problem I've had for a long time with the Werewolf and Fairies vs. Witches mods. When I have these mods installed and when my Simette and her boyfriend have twins or triplets, only the firstborn inherits the Werewolf, Fairies, or Witch trait, while the others are just regular Sims. I've already tried doing it without any other mods, but the problem persists.

I love the mod so far but I've tried reading the instructions and everything and I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. I tried installing but the animations just plain don't work. I've been doing different ways but I just don't get it.
I've been having the same issue as well, there is no transformation nor hunting animations in my game
I am having an issue with this mod and I don't know if I'm not doing something correct or if its a bug. I am only playing with game wolves right now but really wanted to use this mod for the option to create your own pack. My issue is I cannot get the pack to work properly. My alpha was able to start a pack but he never got a packmate trait with the first mate. And after that he no longer has the option to ask people to join. I've made sure they have a high enough friendship and if I switch to them they can ask to join. And once I got more than one I did have options to talk about other members, but none of them get the packmate trait either. And I don't have any options for the pack hunt. I've checked relationship cheats and packmate isn't available, but sire/sired for both wolves and lycans is. I also seem to have all the traits. So I think it's probably something I'm doing wrong but I just cant figure it out.
Everything works in this mod, I'm very impressed, it's much better than the regular EA pack, but my Lycan children look completely normal in their wolf form and not like in the trailer, which is a real shame. Was something changed?
Does hybrids occult between your werewolves and your witches are a possibility? I would really love to have a witch that has been transformed into werewolf but didn't loose his powers 😁

Hello there. I am curious to know if I am doing something wrong. This mod previously worked for me with no issues. However since I have added the updated version the Lycan forms do not display in my game at all. I followed the instructions, as I always do. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Is there any way to customize the lycan form? I normally use the humanoid form but I'm not a fan of the beard on mu female lycans, is there a cheat to take them into cas and make a custom lycan form?
Love the diversity in the mod. But for those of us who don’t want the full overhaul and added features, (I just don’t want to worry about adding a lot of extra features I probably won’t use) is there a way to release just the Create Your Own Pack part of the mod? Because that would be amazing for those of us who want to play with just the EA werewolves (no Lycans or hybrids) but be able to create our own packs. Or maybe a toggle for those things to turn them off? Thanks :)

I feel like Sims released werewolves almost immediately following my installing of your werewolves mod and I hate to say it but I dug yours better. I had so much fun with the werewolves mod, but did uninstall to avoid any issues when downloading Sims werewolves. Are they compatible with eachother now? If so, I want to re-download yours but don't want a massive crash or issue if I do.
Is there any way to disable red eyes for my hybrid sim? I already checked hide glowing eyes and that didn't seem to work. I'd like to have normal eyes in my human form. Changing it in CAS doesn't work either.

is there a way to stop the lycan appearance being applied to sims when they age up? They are not lycans, but every single sim from toddler and up ages up with that appearance applied to them and its incredibly annoying. I love this mode, but at this point I'm going to have to remove it because I"m tired of going into the cas of every house hold in my game and removing those CAS items
I've run into this exact issue and it is very much in fact, quite annoying. I love werewolves an all, but I would love to have aliens and vampires be THEMSELVES.... And the whole lycan part being applied ruins that immersion when it's a non werewolf. I really want this issue to be fixed so I definitely feel you there. (It's awkward seeing this on non lycans on top of things)
I love this mod so much, you have no idea. Thank you so much for making it! Would it be possible in the future to choose one of the lycan forms when transforming instead of the default EA werewolf one? I managed to choose forms when I made my sim a Lycan only, but when I used cheats to combine the lycan form with EAs werewolf, I cannot choose another form than the EA werewolf form when transformed, the lycan form option is greyed out :((
The werewolf overlay, the hairy body and fangs and the furry face, is showing up on probably 40% of my randomly generated NPC sims who are definitely not werewolves at this point. Not sure if there's maybe some way to make it not do that, or some way to quickly clean them up?
This is happening on 90% of my sims when they age up. Because it is set to teeth, there isn't even an easy way to keep it from being applied to randomly using MCCC. Other than this annoyance, I love the mod.
I just had to manually remove the Lycan teeth from 16 of the 20 toddlers that just aged up from infants in my current game. It's possible that this is a conflict with Crilender's CAS Unlocks mod, so I'll try testing without it, but this has been an ongoing problem and a response would be much appreciated. Update: I removed the CAS Unlock mod and it happened again. This time with a child aging up from toddler.
Hi. I don't know if this is happening to anyone else, but nearly all sims in my game are getting randomly assigned the Lycan teeth when they age up.

hey i recently tried turning my vampire into a werewolf hybrid but non of my sims are making the amalgam elixer they just put the pot on the stove and never resume making it is there a way to fix this?

I had a question about this mod if anyone could answer real quick. I wanted to get the mod while I wait to get the money for the Werewolf pack, but my friend and I were wondering if the Lycans would change looks wise once the werewolf pack was installed, since she really likes the Lycans in this mod over the werewolves in the pack.
Also, I'm not seeing an option to add to my pack. My werewolf started a pack with his first sired werewolf, and now I can't add any other werewolves/lycans to it at all. I tried shift clicking the sim I want to add and going to the lycan tab, no option. I tried clicking the sim, and flipping through every categorey I thought would hold the 'invite to pack' option and still nothing.
Is there a way to turn off or exclude certain werewolves from hating vampires? I have a married vampire and werewolf and they keep losing relationship points despite them being best friends and married.
Whenever my werewolf Sims have children they never turn out as a werewolf. I don't know if this is a Glitch or because I use a childbirth mod and wicked whims or McCommand center or what. I tried using it without any mods or cc and it didn't work either. It really Annoying but take your time to get it to it. Great job on the mod. You're Doing great king.

I have an issue - my lycan Sim still shifts into his EA wolf form, instead of the Beast form I chose for him.
Whenever you have chance, could you maybe take a look at werewolf mod werewolf run script? At least with the werewolf mod pack installed, didn't seem to be executing properly. I found that: 1. Werewolves and lycans both used the human animation for jogging. 2. Werewolves and lycans do not seem to run under any normal conditions. No matter how far the distance is or what the stiumulus, they will wolf walk. 3. The only time the werewolf run animation engages is when an official werewolf pack wolf is enraged. They will then use the werewolf run animation when using “go here ferociously” or (sigh) zoomiees. 4. Certain actions such as “go for feral run” are not available to game pack werewolves while lycan mod is installed. 5. I have not seen a lycan use the werewolf run style under any circumstances with the lycan mod installed. 6. After confirming no other scripted mods running, removing the lycan mod causes normal run options such as “go for feral run” to be re-enabled for game pack werewolves. 7. Also tested Aelaan Bluewood’s Always Werewolf Walkstyle (with lycan mod removed) and had expected behavior. All move actions enabled, werewolves used wolf run animation where ever appropriate including going places and jogging or other run actions. Could just be me though. Do not have other user experiences to draw from yet.
I’ll definitely give that a look and see what the issue is. I can’t imagine why these bugs would exist, as the mod doesn’t alter the “go for feral run” interaction in any way and the walkstyle is a direct clone of EA’s walkstyle and is applied in the same way. There could be an unseen conflict, though.
hi! there is a bug in the mod ive found where i cant pick which feral form my sims appear in (ie gamepack werewolfs or mod lycan). i mean, the option is technically there but it doesnt show up in the bubble menu until i transform into wolf form. then "choose wold form variation.." is in the menu when i click on my character, however it is greyed out and says that my sim cannot do this while he is transformed. when he reverts back to human form, it is no longer there
Hi! This is actually a purposeful part if the mod. Werewolf/lycan hybrids can only use EA’s werewolf form because when the CAS parts of this mod are applied to a werewolf body frame, it results in really terrible and buggy sims. However, the beast form is a body cas part that can be used on EA’s werewolf form without issues and can be added directly in CAS. I hope to eventually enable the more human-looking forms for EA’s werewolves, but that’s a plan that I’ll be examining later on. :)

There's an auto transform to wolf at night, but is there an auto transform to human at daybreak?
There was one bug that was quite horrifying and funny. I turned my Lycan sim into a hybrid lycan/werewolf. I don't know if I should have done that, because when my sim turned into his werewolf form his eyes were popping out. Once I removed the lycan, he was fine lol. I'm guessing I wasn't suppose to do that ^.~'' haha.
Omg same! His eyes were popping out. However, I believe the new pack is also just conflicting with a lot of other mods. Most of my werewolves for some reason had "human skin" when they transformed instead of fur.

Yeah I agree. I liked the Werewolf mod model way more than the gamepack one. The gamepack one looks like the recent movie Cats which "everyone loves"
Can someone help me with how to make the amalgam elixir? My vamp bit my wolf and now the wolf sim is dying and I’m not sure how to save her! Also my werewolf lore skill has randomly stopped progressing, any ideas? Thanks anyone!!!!
I was finally able to make it, but only by buying the Outdoor Retreat pack, otherwise your character will never complete the process. I made it used it and am now playing that character.

I have tried a hundred times to make the Amalgam Elixir, it appears on the stove without him there but is not finished, and no matter how many times I click on resume cooking it he refuses. I think the result of this is that my CC clothing keeps disappearing off of my normal SIM. But I am not sure of that. it's only just started happening today, but I haven't played with this particular SIM since the 25th I think. Hello, I have a problem because today at the official premiere of "Werewolf" there was a conflict with your werewolf mod ... The game is loading but an error window pops up and I have to restart the game. I did not know that if I turned a Vampire to a Werewolf they would die, I had not intended to kill the two characters.
I tried out the Witches and Fairies mod as well today, and discovered that if you have Wicked Whims installed, that when the spirit comes out of the Witches Altar she keeps trying to have sex with you, and is quite persistent. I think I need to turn down some of the settings.
I just want to say this is great, so far all is working perfectly, and your werewolf looks so much better than the stupid ones I saw that EA has created, The professor even spent the night so I was able to change over very quickly, even though the book still says I do not have enough knowledge. I've run into an issue where my werewolf with wolf hair, ears, and claws even in human form... edit: I've even given her the cure potion. So she's fully human but still has the wolf hair, teeth and ears
I've been playing this mod for a while and I'd like to say I love so much about it. The animations and perk system are fun. I have run into a couple of minor issues and have a couple of suggestions for future iterations: - I play hybrid because it's the only way to customize the appearance of my werewolf. I have a collection of mods to give him that 2010 Wolfman look. I wish there were a way to choose between vampiric thirst or werewolf hunger. - Alternatively, eating rabbits and raw meat could replenish your thirst. (it's clear from the animation that the rabbits are full of blood. - Perhaps you could have a "maul" attack that fills your thirst? - The Lunar alter seems kind of bugged. When I add 3 items to unlock a perk (moonstone+blood fruit+venom) the option I'm trying to unlock, disappears from the list. - I love the running-on-all-fours animation, but it doesn't seem to move the werewolf any faster. He's still going at the speed of regular walking. It might also be nice if the "vampiric run" could be changed to "hybrid run" used this animation. Thanks for this mod. I'm having a great time with it.
With the lunar alter, the items have to be in a specific position on the alter to work. I also believed it was broken at first, but you have to play around with the position. For example: One of the recipes call for plasma fruit, moonstone, and werewolf venom. To craft this, the werewolf venom goes on the left, then the plasma fruit in the middle, and the moonstone on the right.
I'm also running into an issue where my vampire/werewolf hybrids break every time I reload the game and I have to re-install the mod to fix them. By break I mean, their beastly power meter disappears and there's a blank spot where it used to be, and the plombob resets to a vampire plumbob. I only experience this with hybrids.

Discovered an issue where placing "The Book of the Beast" on any bookshelf renders it useless for leveling the Werewolf Lore skill. The book has to be destroyed and re-purchased from Thatcher Wolff. I was able to repeat this error multiple times. I was finally able to just hide all my bookshelves to stop my sim from placing it on a bookshelf. After doing that, my sim was able to pick up the book again and resume learning Werewolf lore.
Any chance we'll get the option to fully customize our werewolf form like with vampires?

I love this mod so much. But, even with maxed feral control and all perks, my sims transform every night. Kinda starting to become annoying. Would be nice if possible to see if it possible to randomize “full moon” nights instead them being every night.
I loved it at first. My gosh, I have never loved a mod more. But now all of the sudden, there are major glitches and my sims werewolves are not morphing into their werewolf self after I move them into a new lot and they have lost their menu options to infect players or do anything werewolf. I even had them reinfected and then they just run like a werewolf but don't do anything else and don't morph into the werewolf appearance. It seems to happen with any werewolves that I move into a new lot. Which stinks for my storyline idea of infecting all the worlds by spreading them around in all the worlds. Very sad. Please correct the bugs so I can play them again. For now, I uninstalled the mod to avoid gaining resentments towards something that I really want to love. <3

Hello I'm highly confused I seem to be stuck in humanoid wolf mode. my feral control is full I am not stressed atm and I've been stuck in that mode since first change days ago. when I try to phase to human nothing happens after the affect. ** ok clarification I can enter human form I just can’t get back to looking human. I’m still hairy big ears etc*** additionally I some added my vampire partner to my pack now he goes around growling at ppl, scratches at furniture etc but Is still a vampire.
The 'humanoid wolf mode' thing happened to me, too, but I entered CAS and then returned to game and it went away.
found a bug! when reloading a save, the 'glowing eyes' will reapply even when turned off. i have to set them to on and then off again for them to go away.
can you make it so other werewolves change back into human form when leaving a lot? my werewolves friends always leave in beast form and come back in it as well

Hello, I turned a Sim into a werewolf, and now he can't have a child with his partner. I use Wicked Whims, there's a setting that basically guarantees pregnancy, the pregnancy test is always negative. I tried using MCCC to force a pregnancy, the male Sim isn't on the list. Another couple had no problems, I just tested it on another save.
I wanted to report the following problem: None of my sims is a werewolf but when i click on a baby, the mother can infect them with the virus and turn the child into a werewolf (breast feeding). Is this supposed to happen?

Do I need to replace all the files or just the script and lifestate package file?
When there’s an update, you should replace all files because they all manage different parts of the mod and could have new resources depending on what feature is fixed/added. But today’s release is the same as the previous update, so redownloading isn’t required if you have the most recent version.

I'm so glad I found you. As an occult lover in the sims, it saddens me how little love occults get in the sims 4. Mermaids were terrible, I forget plantsims are even in the game, and we still haven't had any new occults since spellcasters. Your werewolf mod and fairy mod have been making me enjoy the sims 4 again, so thank you so much

Honestly, it sounds like this might be a mod conflict, as I haven't had any other reports of exception errors. Try loading the game with only the mod installed and attempt to craft the potion. If it still causes an exception, the game may not be able to read the pot object that the sim uses for the interaction, so try placing all package files and ts4script file directly into your mods folder. :)
This mod is Amazing!! Congratulations. You are making a better work than the Sims Studio themselves. There are so many layers on this mod and so much gameplay, it's amazing. I've found some minor bugs, for example the interaction won't trigger when I ask my werewolf to eat chickens (great feature BTW). And past level 6 the Book of the Beast will stop giving me Werewolf Lore (Not sure if this is a bug or maybe this is supposed to happen!).

My sim is now a hybrid but I did pick his vampire weaknesses and strengths, even though I removed all his weaknesses with a cheat. He still hisses and it makes every sim around him dislike him even though I removed the hissing weakness. Am I doing something wrong?
There is a mod to change that,and much more by clicking on your sim,i think it's called better vampires.Also if u are using some other mods that add traits over time,u can remove traits with UI cheats or MCCC.
So I somehow made a hybrid after my werewolf got bit by a vampire. Her needs kept dropping like crazy. Luckily she survived the whole transitioning ( UI cheats) . I loved it! they are so cool!! I've been trying to make other hybrids but they just keep dying. I'm not sure if there is a trick or something? Even my Vampire who was bit by a werewolf, he would either die or the debuff goes away altogether when I go to edit mode. I did make that potion on the stove, but no one wants to drink it lol. Do they have to be human?

this mod is amazing. however for some reason the altar is not recognizing that I have moonstone therefore not letting me choose a perk. i’ve tried everything, having it in my inventory, placing it on different areas of the altar and still no luck :/ any idea why this is happening? thanks for your amazing work !

You'll find that there is a new spell available called "Lupus Transitus" that will make the target sim sensitive to the moon. ;)

Usually this means that your game can't read the script file. Try placing all files from the mod directly into your mods folder without any subfolders.

This might be because of a game bug that has gone unfixed for months. If you go to my patreon page, try downloading the "Herbalism Resetting" fix and see if that helps!
the muzzle on the hybrid form isn't on the sims for me am i the only one with this problem if not can you fix it
I found out if you have any broken cc on your werewolf the only wolf form that works right is the beast also if your wolf is naked when they change back the wolf form stays dress them and human comes back. Try dressing and undressing in wolf form might kick it in.

Hi! You have to remove the moonstones from your inventory, then place the moonstones onto the "bench" part of the Altar! Then the perks should be selectable!
Loving this mod so far!! Only thing I've had some troubles with that I haven't seen anyone else comment on, is that my sims with custom gender settings (male with feminine frame) don't change into the humanoid wolf form. The game acts as though they've changed (eyes change, the walk, the voice, etc), but nothing minus the eyes visually changes. I am unsure as to whether or not it affects the other wolf forms as well, since I haven't played around with that yet. I wasn't sure if it was a glitch with this mod, or a conflict with some other mod of mine :0
Hmmm, I’ll have to look into that. The humanoid form is the only one that specifies which gender receives which CAS part because of the different frames, so there must be an issue with how the sim is identified in the code. This shouldn’t affect the other forms, though.

I've been having the same problem with not being able to use the Lunar Altar perk statue; my sim keeps going to choose a perk, but throws their hands up with the exclamation point symbol, and the statue is completely clear of anything on the moon or around the base, just the moonstone on the altar stone, as suggested... I've tried moving it around in case it was a clash of the placement of the statue itself but nothing is working. xxx

There are some wonderful works there to build from, and then there's Tarruvi's werewolf snout that might be a good aesthetic option, as a possible update?

If you buy the Lunar Altar and enable testingcheats, there is a cheat to turn your sim into a werewolf if you shift+click the altar. :)

The lycanthrope statue has different effects when certain items are placed on it. There are only three options as of right now. Placing raw meat on the statue will lure a wild werewolf to your lot at night, placing a moonstone will cause nearby werewolves to lose Feral Control, and placing an alcron metal will cause nearby werewolves to react and run away from the lot.

First off gotta say you did not disappoint with this mod and EA should take a walk of shame because this is better than what they did with TS3 and probably better than what they could have done in TS4! I love the concept of the Hybrid Form for Werewolfs all except the dog faces but hey I can’t complain I’m in love with this mod! But if you ever decide to change the look for future updates might I suggest looks facial wise those to Michael Covin’s Hybrid form from underworld and Deucalion’s demon werewolf form from Teen Wolf.
so I have to preteen mod and when toddlers age up to preteen or teen the werewolf occult trait is removed, it happens without that mod but ill keep testing

So... Is there a cheat to make my sim a werewolf? :D I am creating a Sim 2 save file in Sims 4 and decided the Capp's are all going to be vampires and the Monty's need to be werewolves! Just hoping I don't have to spend the time turning all the Monty family the long way.
if you have mc command centre installed you can search for and add the buff ‘heightened senses’ and either wait for that to pass and you sim will turn into a werewolf that way, or you can remove the buff once added with UI extensions and your sim will once again, turn into a werewolf
Can a teen sim become a werewolf?
I do know that toddlers and children can be born as werewolves so I assume teens can become one by being bitten but im not 100% sure

So I have a question, might be bit stupid. So I have been trying to get the mark of the beast but after the attack I only get vicious attack and then it goes into healing. Is there something I am not doing right?
If you aren’t receiving the Mark of the Beast at all even after trying multiple times, it sounds like your sim might be another occult. Only humans are able to get the mark buff.
I can't find the Lycansource.com interaction anywhere in the pie menu on computers. Edit: I figured it out. I originally put it in my mods folder inside of another folder (the extracted zip file) but the folder can't be inside of another one.

Quick question; I see faeVwitch and whitelighter got compatibility patches for this mods release. Do the mermaids need one or is it ok to still use? I'm not seeing an update at MTS so just wanted to make sure. Thanks!
The Expanded Mermaids mod didn’t require any additions to be compatible with this mod, so it’s okay to keep using it! :)
