Version 0.35 Details.

Dear friends,

Only a few weeks remain until the release, so here’s some news on the forthcoming new version of Knightly Passions, Version 0.35.

In Version 0.35, you’ll be able to advance the main quest in pursuit of your sister. We’re meticulously crafting everything down to the smallest detail, so please be patient if it seems to you that we’re working slowly. We love this project, so we pour our souls into making it — sometimes slowly, sometimes swiftly, however it works out.

Two new side quests will also be appearing in the game.
Spoiler: Who wanted to sleep in a house of your own instead of spending each night at the tavern? Such a possibility will soon arise ;)

In regards to the new version of the combat system, version 4.0: At this stage, there’s still a lot of work to be done on it, but we already have some new things to show. We’ve added a bunch of different skills to characters and bosses. Each enemy is now unique in its own way, which adds to the game’s immersion. Combat System 4.0 is being written from scratch and has been under development for over six months. It’s turning out to be fairly complex, but interesting. How desperately we want to show it to you soon :3

We really hope to get everything finished in time!

Thank you for your faith and support, friends. You’re the greatest!

Glad to hear the hunter will be getting his own house. Hopefully, our Lady Elf will be moving in with him.

Will there, at some point, be a way to increase attack energy points? I’m thinking not for free, but a quest, perhaps involving the Vampire, to exchange health points for attack energy points. But at the end of your turn, between that and the beginning of the opponent’s turn. This would prevent the player from converting all of their health potions to attack points (unbalancing the game). Also it should be substantially priced, like 100hp for each attack point. So you can buy up to the last 100 hp without killing yourself, and run a substantial risk of dying from the enemy attack immediately following.

If not a house, why not a tent?

I remember a holiday special adventure where we lived in a house with our fair elven lady...that was enjoyable, and I don't think anyone would've been upset if the house had remained exclusive to that special.

It would better to sleep in a place for free instead of spending money in it.

take your time and pour all the soul you like...just remember to save some for yourselves as well, please.

What do you expect the full release to be and how much stuff is there left to do ? (would you reckon you are like, 50% done, more, less )?
