We are pleased to present you with a new release of Knightly Passions: Version 0.6b. In this update, we’ve focused on making improvements to the Halloween event.
Here’s the full changelog:
Implemented more sound effects to add to the event’s atmosphere;
Added new musical compositions;
Loweredthe combat stats of the dragon in the event;
Fixed a problem with the displaying of buttons in battles withQTEs (quick time events) on Android;

Attention! This game version will not work with saves from previous versions. If you are playing the game on Android: before installing a new version of the game, ALWAYS uninstall the previous version of the game. If you don’t do this, errors will occur in the game.

the holloween is gone?
is there only one scene with the weapons trader atm?

Thank you for answering. I went to 5c version of the file. The required file worked alright with that version, then when I updated it with the 06b version again, everything worked. I probably need to update the compression utility. I used whatever is default, but I probably should update it. That's one I never have, and this comp. is (was) a high end gaming system 12 years ago, so it's pretty much a dinosaur.
I downloaded and installed the PC version, but when I try to play I get an error msg that a file is missing. Deleted everything, went through the process again, with the same result. Any advice? Does the latest version include all previous, or do I need to start from the beginning? Edit 1 11/27/21 I went back and downloaded version 5c-pc, unzipped and installed it. Everything worked as normal, the game came up and I have played it through all of the quests through that version. I like the game very much. I again deleted every 6b-pc file, did a fresh download again, and unzipped it. Everything seems fine until I try to run the application file. The error message I get is below, with some non critical folders marked X. C:\\Users\\X\\X\\Knightly_passions-0.6b-pc\\Knightly_passions-0.6b-pc\\lib\\windows-i686\\Knightly_passions.exe:Could no open C:\Users\X\X\Knightly_passions-0.6b-pc\Knightly_passions-0.6b-pc\Knightly_passions.py NOTE: This error message is different from the one I had before. I didn't write it down so I can't give it at this time. This is still an error preventing game play though. EDIT 2 11/28/21 I tried again this morning, Same procedure, and everything started up and is running - as far as I can tell - normally. I haven't done any quests yet, and it appears to be unable to load my 0.5c game save, to continue, so I will have to re-play from the beginning, but I'm not greatly upset by that. I don't know what the problem was or if any changes were made yet, or if it was some random bug here, but it appears to be OK now.
Re: the error message, that's really strange - which file, specifically, are you told is missing? New releases always include all the previous game content (aside from seasonal events, which are rotated in and out, well, seasonally). You don't need to have any previous versions of the game installed to play the most current version.
I play on Android and noticed that I have to completely delete the app on order to install the new one which erases all save data any way to export save file so I don't have to restart the entire game every update
From what I understand it's pretty much inherent in the way RenPly works that you have to uninstall the old version to update to a new one but that IF the old saves will be compatible with the new version they will be saved by the generic RenPly folder and will show up
Obviously I'm starting over, and the option of the Halloween event is offered. Is this a SHORTCUT to the event in that you will come across in the game OR the only way to access it?
I think it's a stand-alone expansion that does not connect to your main save; I could be wrong about that though. I could only get into it through the main menu
