Switty my Swamp cat - the love of my swamp life

I had a cat once before I was able to have dogs (I love all animals; I am just emphatically a dog person ❤️) Over the years I’ve realized I’m too needy to be a cat person; it’s the rushing to the door to meet you as if you are the person who put the sun and stars in the sky that makes my heart burst. Looking back at my time with my cat Frieda, what I remember most is that poor cat endured multiple moments of “I just need to hug her” and the claw marks that I always sustained as a result. I totally deserved it and learned over time to respect her boundaries! Thank you for the memories ❤️

I love cats, dogs and all animals. I trapped, fixed and now feed the ferals even the ones that never let me touch them!!! And one of them, Pattycake, is now fully an indoor safe, loving cat!!! 🐈

I like cats but definitely am a dog person. But this reminds me of when I get my guide dog out his crate each morning and his little routine he has with me. His crate is a few feet from my bed but he acts like we’ve been apart FOREVER. 😂 Definitely a good thing before going to work each day to know someone loves me that much even if he can’t talk!
