Hello I like listening to Tia talk it is just pure evil that politicians dose not believe In animal or human rights and the homeless people dose and does not believe in animal rights. I saw the video the woman that started stand up for pits. She let it all out and told the truth what going on skid row politics are evil.

Rebecca Corey and “Stand Up For Pitts” has been active for several years, I can’t believe you’re just hearing about all of this. This is way more than a few weeks ago News, Skid Row problems have been this way for a long time, but the drug abuse problems on the dogs and breeding for money has been severely increasing. LA Animal Services and Shelters are overwhelmed, overcrowded over 242% above Capacity. Yes, this is all true, I’m from close to this area and have been following Stand Up For Pits and give money. I agree with you. I’m shocked you weren’t aware of this. It is horrific. I think Animal Services is afraid to go out there. She doesn’t have enough support, even though she has a lot of celebrities starting to support and give money. There is a Vet that started a project where he and some Vet Techs went there and gave free exams, vaccines, microchips, heart worm tests, heart worm meds, resource info, free spay and neuter. He got a CNN Hero award. It’s not just Skid Row(they are the worst, it’s San Bernardino,Riverside County,Coachella Valley. Imperial County, really bad. There are advocacy groups that have been trying really hard to make the Coachella Valley Animal Control(240+% over capacity) work on other ways to decrease population then Euthanasia adoptable pets, puppies. The Management of these County Shelters are sometimes the problem, collecting their big salaries and some caught in money stealing. LA and the surrounding counties are way worse than it ever was when you were there years ago. Riverside County Animal Control(Coachella Valley)has ignored the dogs abuse in certain areas as they’re scared to go in there, but make up excuses as to why they aren’t doing it. There are rescues that I’ve been with that call them and they ignore it, or won’t go. I lived there for 19 years until about 1 1/2 years ago and still go back to help the rescue I volunteered and fostered for. I still have one permanent foster(almost 11 yr old Am Staff/Pit mix) and one adopted Tripod from them. It’s overwhelming the amount of dogs and cats (kittens, puppies) that are in need. The Shelters, Rescues, are way overwhelmed with ones that need help. It’s good that you are bringing this out on your podcasts, but more needs to be done for people like Rebecca Corey, Stand Up For Pits Foundation. They had a Television fundraiser I think it was 1-2 yrs ago.

What a disgusting thing to do! Those poor innocent animals! That has to get out to the public to warn them about the fraud!

That's so heartbreaking. They aren't even people anymore on those drugs and those poor dogs are the casualty. Thanks for making us aware. Knowledge is power.

Meanwhile, people who have rioted, caused the death and severe injury of Capital Police, threats to Senators, Congress, threats to kill the Vice President get off and then the “T” tries to get them money for there trouble of being prosecuted.

Only saving grace is that we have people like you that go to great lengths to help every single dog out there that needs it no matter what. This just goes to show you how very important you and your family and staff are!

wtf is wrong with people. number 1 the people that fked up that there treating there dogs like that. and 2 is the sistoms designed to save the dogs from this horrible inviroment and also deal with the people arent doing a thing. and 3 they gave u that warning thing for that permit but yet u were helping the dogs and giving ppl the second chance. sometimes i wonder i realy do. and as i always say am fkn ragin at the situation its pissin me off xx

Not just one dog, many supposedly from that person. Someone else was caught also. They have more stricter laws now and in CA. They are investigating these cases.
