This Hair has 4 color options which can be found in the face paint section.

instead of doing a new file for every new hair, especial maxis match hairs, you should just make a universal ombre hair file.. now i know it might be a little hard trying to always line up the ombre to all the hairs you make, i think it would be worth it and save you time in the long run
That is a great idea, though it would mean I would need to fit the UV map of each hairstyle to said texture, which means I wouldn't beable to do as many possible recolors as I am doing because those type of textures limits the possibilities since the UVs overlap. For the same reason I wouldn't be able to bake the proper AO map. And as much as I like this idea, for me personally that wouldn't work cause I like my hairstyles to be as "flexible" as possible in terms of the ombres. <3
