Early access stuff and etc

I dont understand how EA now has a problem with this after so many years.yeah its for the game but creators work hard and EA has no connection to pateron. i think its really wrong fot them to do that.

The way I understand it, EA is looking to deal with the permanent paywall creators that *require* payment before giving access to their cc. Early release creators don't fall under that. Regardless of what you decide, I sincerely hope you continue to post here on Patreon. I'm notified of new content from you in that way. Otherwise I wouldn't even know unless I came across it in my social media feed. :(

It's my understanding that the paywall isn't necessarily against the TOS. The post by the Sims Dev was that EA doesn't mind, as long as the CC is made available within a few weeks. I have seen some CC creators who never make their CC available to non-subs. I think those are the people who this current drama is directed at, not creators like you. So, you could still do early access. I know many people love your work, including some large YouTube creators, so I would hate to see you feeling defeated by this and stop creating your CC. However, this could be an opportunity for some CC creators to feel they can take a break. I've seen almost all the CC creators I support on Patreon going through the same kind of burnout. So, maybe this will help you all to feel like you can just create when you are inspired and it doesn't have to be a grind every month. The work of CC creators provides so much value to the game, I'd rather pay a few bucks to Patreon every month than dump money into kits!

I'm not a Patron but I love your work! I happily wait for public access. The gurus haven't made any statements officially and even with early access, your mods are still considered "free" since they end up free after that. I just don't see how the revision is being interpreted as no more early access. I understand your decision just to be safe but I really hope they make this clearer soon.
