Computer Update - Up and Running Again

The drama with the PC dying last week is now largely resolved. The issue was a motherboard failure which required the replacement of the Motherboard / CPU / Memory. Given the original PC was build in 2016, it was a pretty good run while it lasted. Whilst the repair of the PC was a little expensive, the bright side is that no data was lost.

 Last week was going pretty well in terms of image generation until the PC monster turned up. This has prompted me to invest in a new PC, the details of which are now settled and order placed. Once the brand new PC arrives and is set up, I will have a 16GB RTX4070Ti Super for rendering, which is double the VRAM and 5 times the speed of what I was using. Won't make a massive difference to total output, however will make my life a little easier and provide opportunity to create images with a greater number of characters.

It's not quite back to normal until I get the new PC set up, but will be able to make some progress on images over the next week. I'll do the next weekly report on Friday 19/7, at which time things will have settled down, allowing the forecast to be reasonably accurate.
