"Ride The Lightning" (Metallica) Solo Lesson/Analysis

Just when I think I've made a lesson for every big, classic solo my silly ol' self remembers another absolute STONKER that I've somehow missed! Today we're going over what is, in my opinion, Kirk's greatest Metallica solo.

This amazing piece of lead playing exciting and energetic from start to finish, with no notes going to waste (I wish present-day Kirk would take notes haha). It's a pretty unique Metallica solo too in the fact that it features tonnes of arpeggios with some super cool progressions, proving that beneath the pentatonic wankery Kirk really did know his stuff. Also, considering the whole thing is nearly 2 minutes long it really just flies by!

Good luck and don't forget to share your progress with everyone in the Discord server!
