10 Levels Of Economy Picking
Economy picking is the approach of dealing with string transitions with a mini-sweep instead of seperate, alternating pick strokes (a la alternate picking). It's my personal picking preference and a big part of my signature style, and in my opinion incredibly under-utilized by the larger guitar populous.
For some reason many guitarists have a fixation with trying to alternate pick everything, even when it doesn't make sense to, so I've been making a big push recently to try and raise awareness of our lord and savior Economy Picking!
This rigorous workout will take you on a journey through the different varieties of economy picking, from the simplest fundamentals right through to the most complicated economy licks I know.
