Strive Sequel nearby plans
With the tech demo being positively received, I wanna address my main concern: the tech demo is a bit different from normal demo/alpha is was pushed to present the core systems instead of what game actually will play like. As you could see, the demo was mostly focused on crafting and character management, but it wasn't exactly my end goal. So to me, what gonna makes the most sense, is to work on aspects which will bring game closer to what it gonna play like.
So what exactly I'm planing to add to current state?
1. Way more lore, story and narration. Aside from actual plot (which will probably come slightly later), I plan to give more distinction on every area and some races. Moreover, I want to make all starting factions more fleshed out. As you've noticed, the starting region "Plains" will feature both mansion and main quests, so its obviously will become the first priority.
2. Gameplay rebalance. To put it simply, I'm planning to make simple gathering/crafting far less sustainable or at least profitable. Instead there should be plenty of different opportunities, events and encounters which will provide player with all sorts of items and exp. Ideally, I'd aim to make crafting into something you don't even have to do at all, unless you really want the best gear for your potential army, so still entertaining, but not a center of the game.
3. The actual content will be composed of quests, combat and events. Firstly, I wanna try to introduce more events which will be happening at dungeons and settlements, and more events involving specific races and perhaps lore details.
So, the first instalments of new content and rebalance should be out fairly soon, hopefully by that time I'll be able to include some examples of game's new art. After that I'll be assembling a proper roadmap on features including priority voting.
As this month comes to an end as always I want to thank everyone who's supporting us and see you next month!

Sounds very solid, i have followed Strive from it's very early incarnation. You have come far. But, i believe there is no limit as to how far one can go. For now i'll say that i am looking forward to story/quest heavy Strive2. First one ended kinda rushed imo, i imagine second one will be slow and steady. ^^)
Would you be adding sexy time options for specific playable species? (lamia constrict)
Former patreon, dropped back when Strive got back-burnered. Do you have plans for a public release of the tech demo?
It is currently public.
Honestly, the demo was extremely encouraging. It showcases that the core systems of the game are in a good state. The stuff that remains is more window dressing, and while there may be iterations on it there is little chance of a fundamental problem being missed with that grade of development.
