Finally I made fully functional TDU2 savegame editor that allows you to edit everything in your savegame, this includes money, casino coupons, haircuts and ofcourse full garage editor, it allows you to spawn traffic vehicles in garages aswell and you can edit vehicle details too, like upgrades and stuff.

• FREE DOWNLOAD:
  While it's free to download, you must become at least Bronze tier Patron to be able to use the tool, lot of time and effort went into making this. Even tho most of the heavy-lifting was done by AI, i still had to debug and reverse engineer the game's encryption mechanism, that's why nobody has ever made save editor for TDU2 before, as it's not that easy.

• SAVE GAME MECHANICS:
  TDU2’s savegame is encrypted and scrambled, then checksummed per chunk, split and spread all over memory. This editor pieces it all together and decrypts it, changes only the values you edit, then reverses the process by re-building and re-encrypting it, then recalculates the checksums. Entire savegame process had to be rebuilt. The fact that nobody has made it since 2011, is proof that it's not that simple. There are communities for TDU2 that make all sorts of mods and unofficial patches, but nobody has ever made Save Editor til now. Hope you can respect this.

• CODE:
  It's written in python and compiled into single .exe, no installation needed.

• OAuth / API:
  It uses Patreon's official Patreon OAuth 2.0 API to check if user is active paid-tier Patron (only active paid patrons are allowed access).

REQUIREMENTS

• Win 10 and above (might work on win 7, not tested)

• Active Patreon subscription (Bronze tier or higher, free tier not included)

• Internet access (it's only used to communicate with Patreon's API to check your subscription)

• TCP port 2011 must be free and not used by any other program during the OAuth authentication, if any other program is using port 2011, then authentication fails (you do not need to port forward as this only runs locally and data is only exchanged between web browser <> TDU2 Save Editor)

PRIVACY

Patreon login happens on Patreon’s own website, so the editor never sees your password. It only connects to patreon, via official API, to check that you have active paid membership on The Sethioz Project page. It reads your Patreon name and membership status for that check and doesn’t store them. Your save files never leave your computer and nothing is sent to the developer or any other server.

DOWNLOAD & USAGE

• Download TDU2SaveEditor.zip below

• Extract anywhere ( password = sethioz ) — password is required because patreon doesn't allow .exe uploads, it also intrusively extracts unprotected archives and if it finds .exe, it blocks it and complains about it.

• Optionally place your own fav.ico in same folder with TDU2SaveEditor.exe

• Run TDU2SaveEditor.exe

• It opens a dialog box and browser window (in default browser) like this:

• use "Copy login link" if you want to use a different browser, then paste the link into other browser (if you're using Patreon on non-default browser)

• In browser, click "Allow"

• Patreon then sends a valid session token to TDU2 Save Editor and it opens.

Anti-Virus FALSE POSITIVES

Some antivirus programs may flag the .exe as a threat (e.g. “unsafe”, "dropper" or “malicious”). These are generic false positives as the editor is a Python program packed into a single .exe, a format that heuristic and machine-learning scanners often distrust, and it reads and writes files and connects to Patreon, which can look suspicious to them. Only a few of the 71 scanners on VirusTotal flag it, and the major ones don’t. If your antivirus complains, add an exception for the file.

Rest assured, I would never put malware on my Patreon! It would make no sense to share malware on Patreon.
