Minimalistic live currency rates monitor (freeware)

I don't even know why, but i made minimalistic currency rates monitor that updates rates on launch + hourly. No installation needed, extract archive and run. Written in python. it requires internet connection and valid api-key.

it relies on https://openexchangerates.org so you need to make free account there to get your api key. i can't give my api key, because they have 1000 requests per month limit, if i'd use public api key it would get exhausted fast when multiple people are using it, that's what you need an account there. Then go to https://openexchangerates.org/account/app-ids and get your api key.

put your app id / api key inside "api.key" file and save, that's it.

you can add custom rates in customrates.txt file by using simple format like:
EUR:SEK
GBP:JPY
USD:CAD
GBP:CAD
GBP:SEK
GBP:RUB

If you enter incorrect currency code, it obviously won't work. use correct formatting. It's useful for those who don't want to install massive programs just to monitor currency rates, it's lightweight and updates hourly, leave it open or open when needed, if you leave it open, it updates hourly.
