Willow - Quantum computing chip by google, What is it? How it works?
i see lot of hype about "willow", but i also see lot of mis-information and people talking about things they don't understand, so i wrote article about it, trying to make it as simple as possible. hopefully people will stop spreading mis-information. I already see news videos where they are concerned about encryption breaking and comments are full of misleading fools saying nonsense.

i have tried explaining it in simplest and easiest way possible, it really isn't that complex (at least not for me). in short, it uses quantum entanglement to be able to perform multiple operations at same time (not same as threaded calculations).
Just read the article, it explains what willow is, isn't, how it works and how it's different from regular computers and why it's no immediate danger to encryptions.
it's quite fascinating concept, when i first heard about quantum entanglement as kid, i already had an idea about artificially entangling particles and using it to basically have 1 particle in 2 places at same time, which would remove the need for conventional A to Z and back to A method... but who listens to me? right? anyway it's quite cool to see it being reality. it's bit chilling to think where AI will be 1 year from now, i think AI will evolve more in next year than it has ever before.
