Preview: HTML Crossword

Last Wednesday, I shared a large CSS-themed crossword. For next Wednesday, I coded a new crossword, and this time, it is HTML themed!

Patreon members get early access to a private version of the game. It is not publicly shared on the site, so the only way to access it is through that link. It will be fully available on Wednesday, when that link will go public.

It is not just a new board with new words, I recoded the whole thing because I didn't like the structure or the interactions. some of the features:

• It works without JS (this is not new though)

• Changed the HTML structure

• The keyboard interaction has been fully redone: it is more natural, but it is still glitchy on Android... because Android.

• Behind the scenes HTML to boost accessibility.

The game was created by a human (me), from the word organization (which would explain why a couple of words are repeated, sorry 😅) to the code that handles the crossword interactions (which would explain the Android glitchy keyboard)

I have attached a PDF version to this post in case you want to try but don't want to do it on the computer, but on paper.
