20 More Bad CSS-Dad Jokes

New year, new collection of web development puns and short jokes! They are all equally terrible and funny (I wish... in reality they are more terrible than funny). I recently published an article with 100 Web Development Jokes (also available on Medium and DEV), and I’m continuing the "tradition."

I'll be publishing this post on Monday. But you get early access. This time I decided to make the collection in the round number of 20. It was weird that before they were 18... why? I don't even remember!

Anyway, here are the new jokes:

It is a class act.

Debatable... but it works as a joke.

-------

One semantic class is worth one thousand utility classes.

-------

Why was the web developer afraid of accordions?
Because the devil is in the <details>.

-------

CSS developers may seem flaky, but they always go the full 324in.

-------

-------

#00F

And when it’s really uncomfortable: #0000000F!

It sticks with me through thick and thin.

-------

Why did the <div> bet upset?
It got bent out of shape().

-------

Why was the web page crying?
Because it got a <head>ache.

I was thinking about this alternative, but it feels off.

Why was the web page happy?
Because it hit the nail on the <head>

-------

What is CSS’s favorite tree?
A #BA0BAB.

-------

What movement does CSS Art belong to?
#DADA

-------

Where do HTML elements go on vacation?
<spain>

Another option could be <li>sbon.

-------

Did you hear about the vibe coder who got attacked by a cat?
It got Claude.

-------

HTML threw an amazing party.
Everyone said it was <li>.

-------

CSS doesn’t like fruit, but it ate appearance.

-------

-webkit-box-reflect isn’t standard… but it already sees itself there.

-------

What is CSS developers’ favorite cloud service?
 azure.

-------

- Knock, knock!
- Who’s there?
- display:none
- display:none who?
-

-------

- Knock, knock! - Who’s there? - display:flex - display:flex who? - 😏

-------

What’s the most popular HTML element?
<time>. It always has a date.
