Spooktober

The month of October is the first full month of Autumn/Fall, and best known for celebrations like Halloween and things scary.

Many comics make reference to this. I just did a couple of days back, sharing a silly cartoon about CSS turning dark and evil in October... which is unnecessary, because CSS is dark and evil all year round.

I thought about continuing the "joke" by having the characters be skeletons in all the October comics, but then I realize that more than skeletons, the characters looked like pale monkeys... And I decided to make a comic about it.

Will the characters remain in skeleton/monkey version for October? Most likely not, but considering that this is all done in code, maybe I could do something fun and add a JS snippet that actually does that for Halloween.

The changes wouldn't be reflected on the pictures, but if people visit the actual live demos (I don't think anyone does, but... whatever). And if I make it generic enough, I could just have it running all year round, and it would only activate in October.

I need to think about that idea a little bit more...
