Android Poll

I get asked a lot about bringing the Android version back, so I wanted to explain why there hasn’t been one for a while and see how many people actually want it.

The main issue is size. The game is now around 8GB, and Android builds have much stricter packaging limits than PC/MAC.

As the game has grown with more renders, animations, audio and content, it’s reached the point where I can’t just export a normal APK like I used to for the first few episodes.

Compression is always an option, but again, we lose quality and there becomes a point where due to the amount of files, we can't compress it small enough.

There are a few ways around it, The most realistic option would be a smaller Android app that downloads the main game files separately after installation, but this would mean extra development, testing and ongoing work every time the game is updated, so before I spend time setting all of that up, I want to know how many people would actually use it.
