Dev update #214
Hi!
The Cybernetic Seduction launch on Patreon is officially over. I've also wrapped up everything on the Steam side: achievements, rewards, extra code and all the small things in between. The only piece still missing is the translation, and that one isn't really in my hands. If it gets done early, there's a very good chance Season 3 will hit Steam in January instead of February. I'll keep you posted, as usual.
You've probably noticed that this dev update isn't only for my Patrons. That's not a mistake.
First of all, I'm incredibly grateful to every Patron who supported CS during its four-year run. Thank you, truly.
But as the game comes to a close, there are around 150 Patrons left, and I simply can't introduce a new project to only 150 people. At the same time, I don't want to charge some of you for the same news others get for free. That wouldn't be fair. So from now on, dev updates and polls are free for everyone. As for renders, there won't be any for quite a while, so that's not really a topic at this stage.
What does this mean for Patreon? Honestly, for now, supporting me there is just that: support. Apart from your Discord role, there's nothing locked behind a tier, and there won't be anything to show for a while. So if you'd like to lower your tier, or cancel and come back once there's something to see, I completely understand. No hard feelings at all. You can follow me on Patreon for free and you'll still get every update. And if you decide to stay, thank you. It means a lot, especially at this stage, when you're just backing an idea.
Now, the development itself. It's in very, very early stages. With the most time-consuming CS work behind me, the new project now has my full attention. I don't have everything figured out yet, but there are a few things I know for sure and can already share:
Male protagonist. That one's a given.
Medieval fantasy. Not high fantasy, though. Something grimmer and darker. This is where I feel most at home as a writer, and writing a medieval story has been on my mind for years. I'm glad I finally have the skill and the budget to do it properly, and I'm genuinely excited about this one.
No NTR / NTS, or anything in that direction. It's simply not the road I want to take, and I'd rather make that clear from day one. If you're curious about the reasoning, feel free to ask on Discord.
No Daz. At all. I partly stepped away from Daz in CS, but the characters, the clothes and even some of the locations still came from it. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I want to go further. This time the goal is zero Daz assets, characters included. Figuring out every part of that pipeline as a one-man team will take a lot of testing, and I'm not 100% sure it's possible yet, but I'm ready to put in the time. If it works, you'll get characters you won't recognize from a dozen other games.
No AI-generated images. Every scene will be built, posed, lit and rendered by me in 3D, the same way I've always worked. Nothing you see will come from a prompt. It takes a lot more time, but that's the only way I want to make games.
Bigger, not more. Big outdoor environments are one of the hardest things to pull off in 3DCG. The amount of grass, trees and props a proper landscape needs is simply too much for any GPU, and every 3DCG dev knows that struggle, myself included. I want to try something different. I'm not talking about hundreds of locations or dozens of storylines all over the map. I'm talking about scale. When you stand in a village, you should see the valley around it, the roads leading away, the forest stretching to the horizon, mountains in the distance. When characters travel somewhere, it should feel like a journey, not a cut to the next room. I have a few ideas on how to make this work, and I'll start testing them very soon. This will easily be the most challenging part of the whole process.
I think that's it for now. There's a lot of work ahead, and as I test these ideas, I'll let you know how it goes: what works, what doesn't, and what's realistic for the world, the characters and everything else.
You can also expect a few polls about CS (and maybe Deliverance), because I want your honest feedback on systems, free roams, choices and so on before I lock anything in for the new project.
All future updates will be posted here on Patreon and on my Discord, so follow along wherever you prefer.
Take care!

Hello dev.....before playing I want to confirm that there is no ntr and cheating (mc's girls cheat on mc) in the game because I avoid those(in Cybernetic Seduction)
Hi! There is no NTR / NTS / cheating in Cybernetic Seduction.
just wanted to tell you something I’m not sure enough people have had the chance to say. Deliverance is still, to me, the best thing you’ve made. And Katherine… she is still the one I can’t forget. I’ve played most of the games out there, including the biggest and most celebrated ones, and I have yet to meet a character whose design and presence felt as alive as hers. It wasn’t only how she looked. It was the way she felt real — like someone who had a life of her own, not just a face drawn for a screen. She was the best then, and she still is. It honestly makes me sad to think she won’t be coming back, and that the story of Trevor and Katherine is going to stay an unfinished dream. As someone who has genuinely loved your work, I just wanted you to know that she, and that adventure, still mean a great deal to people who played it. Some of us are still out here hoping, quietly, that one day that door might open again.
Thank you so much for this. It’s amazing to see that people still remember Katherine after so many years. I spent a lot of time with her, so it means a lot to me. I don’t want to give you false hope, though. I really don’t think I’ll ever go back to Deliverance, or CS. To make a game, I need to feel the spark. I need that motivation to stay creative, and to... work on one project every day, 10-12 hours a day, for 4 or 5 years. If I don’t feel it anymore, I just can’t do it. That’s how I work. Right now I feel that spark for my new project, and I'm genuinely excited for the next ~5 years.
very curious and interested in your next project
I'm happy to hear that you already have a new project lined up. I'm so looking forward to buying the completed CS on Steam. It is hands down one of the best adult games I've ever played. Good luck, your stuff is rad
Thanks a lot! I appreciate it. It's still a very long way away from being in alpha stage, but step by step, as always, I will get there.
You as Dev has lots of courage only love for your hardwork and respect
So please select Long game, harem pregnancy don't forget add iff possible
You game is top notch quality and you are one of the best developer, please select such game which has long legs , try to understand supporter view , one who support this game internally or externally they get very much attached to this game , and when this game ends they get hurt 🤕. That's what I believe
Thanks a lot! I aim to create something memorable. A medieval setting was always my dream, so I'll make sure I get this done right.
First thank you for this dev . No NTR / NTS, or anything in that direction .
am looking forward to your new project.😉
It's going to take some time. Maybe even a lot of time, but it will be worth it!
If you're already brainstorming a new game, just focus on that. Forget about the polls for Deliverance and Cybernetic Seduction—there's no point if you're not actually going to make them.
These polls will still be useful for the next project. Did the players like free roams? Activities? Jobs? How was the heist planning system? That sort of feedback.
Thank you so much for all your hard work; I really enjoyed CS, and I’ll be fully supporting you on this project—especially knowing you won’t be including NTR/NTS (I have nothing against those who like it, but personally, it’s not for me). Anyway, I wish you the best. Greetings from Venezuela!
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed CS. I want to push my next AVN into the next level
Uh, so you're not planning to polish the ending of Cybernetic Seduction?
Cybernetic Seduction is now fully completed and I don't plan to make any changes.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication Thousand
Thanks a lot!
You Are One The BEST Developers in the industry, congrat! 👏👏
Thank you so much!
