🖤 "The Letter Wasn’t Meant for Her..." Catwoman WIP 🐾(Work in progress)

Selina wasn’t supposed to be here.

She came for a necklace — quick in, quick out. A quiet job.

But the drawer held no jewels. Just a torn envelope. Her name, scrawled in a familiar hand she hadn’t seen since that night in Rome.

Inside: no signature. Just five words that hit like a punch to the gut:

“They know what you did.”

Behind her, a chair lay overturned — not recently. Whatever happened here happened fast.

The phone? Still warm. Someone had just hung up.

On the floor: a gun. Not hers. Not holstered.

She didn’t come for a fight…

…but it looks like the fight came for her.

Now she stands frozen, letter in hand, heels pressed into dusty floorboards, breath caught between past and present.

Someone made the first move...
