Zer0 Weekly #26

Hey folks,

Hope everyone's managing to get some rest as we come to the end of the year.

I won't lie I've been putting off posting a Zer0 weekly mostly cause I wanted to wait till there was something more substantial to share but ah well here we are. I'll confess I've been mostly trying (and somewhat failing, thanks to also getting a cold for a week again) to relax and regen the creative juices as output towards the end of the year took a lot out of me (especially with putting my everything into the SHX animation).

Now that's not to say I've not been working on stuff and already the next animation is in a sort of pre-production phase (or I guess pre animation stage) with Cyberg0th 2077 (WIP title but probably will be just that with a subtitle XD).

Next anim will be featuring Ul and Judy (alongside Cora as their offsite hacker buddy) needing something to do after a "botched" gig in City 13. Thankfully Cora was able to snag some secret super illegal offshore account information and so the girls hire the services of top of the line Lillith model sexbot.

The script is about 40% complete (all of Cora's lines have already been finalized even), and the basic structing has mostly been hammered out. I've already been working on the cyberpunk UI vfx as they're gonna be the most time consuming to replicate and I think it's been coming along nicely. {Phone Call Test} and {Money & Hacking GFX Test}

I'm in the middle of creating and converting a new room for this one too, and have been testing out new effects, going for holographic/cyberpunky looking billboards and even making animated textures which will hopefully help make the scenery really pop and feel alive.

Ofcourse though I do need to apologize, while I didn't promise it, I still feel a bit guilty that I wasn't able to push out one more animation before the end of the year, but ofcourse I'd just rather make sure I put quality first and hope you'll understand and appreciate this.

I do have this wee small commission animation that a client has allowed me to share that I hope will feel like a nice gift to round off the year. (Will leave a link at the bottom of the post)

I'll probably just allow myself to fully rest for the next week or so but we'll see and I look forward to being set to hit the next year running with a fair few ideas already taking fruition in the noggin.

If I don't post again I want to thank you all genuinely for being here for this ride and supporting my craft and myself. I still pinch myself some 5 years after starting all of this with nothing but a hope n a prayer and here we are. Couldn't have done it without you guys and I hope you all have a happy new year and find the time to rest for the coming year to come.
